Oh well, late. I'm really glad though that an update will be coming, even though it is DLC which not everyone will like. I still support it however, so good luck beta testers!
As much enjoyment as I've gotten from this game, I'd feel guilty if I didn't purchase the new maps... Well, I don't think I could resist anyway. But does this mean I'll have to reinstall the game, like with Fieldrunners, cause I'm jailbroken, or is that just a one-time thing for every iPod/iPhone? Somebody clearify, please. I have a lot of saved data in the Creeps that I'd prefer not losing.
By the way, will there ever be more than 10 creeps on-screen at a time? That's one of very few things in this game that I'm bothered by. Other TD games usually let off uncountable enemy waves on harder levels and that's part of the challenge. That and enemies with abilities.
I don't have a jailbroken device so I'm not sure how that works exactly. But if you take your profile online (Creeps v1.3.2), all your scores and unlocked levels will be saved. You could then delete the app if you wanted and you wouldn't lose anything. Once you install 1.4.0 (when it comes out) just log in with your online profile... and actually you will have to wait for a while on the global scoreboard... like maybe 2 or 3 minutes. Why do you have to wait? Hah, well agon synchronizes it's data behind the scenes while the scoreboards are up but you aren't doing anything. This is normally almost instant because most games only have 1 scoreboard. The Creeps! currently has 30 levels with 3 difficulties each (that's 90 leaderboards), plus overall high scores per mode (that's 4 more) plus all the awards, plus all the cloud data (that's the data that holds your unlocked levels). And it downloads one leaderboard every couple seconds... so I'm guessing about 200 seconds... so a little over 3 minutes. And once 1.4.0 hits it'll be even longer because I've added awards and doubled the available levels! Sheesh! At least you only have to do that once after you do a fresh install...
Awesome! Great to hear that the new maps means more than only new layouts. You can expect my 2.97$ at least. Uhm... Grazie! So when can we expect the update, if estimated roughly?
Just one more question then: Will the three level packs have different themes, or will they all be Dinosaur?
Packs #1 and #2 are all dinosaur levels, #3 has levels with all the classic environments/enemies + 2 dinosaur levels.
