I love the Creeps! I have bought every add on and the holiday version. One of my favorite TDs I just keep coming back to.

Is the update for The Creeps! as well as for the holiday edition? I'm not seeing an update for The Creeps yet, but I can see the update for the holiday edition.

 

There is an update for the original "The Creeps!" still waiting for Apple approval. That update includes retina graphics and two new level packs. One level pack has the valentine's day levels from The Creeps! Holiday Edition, and the other level pack has all the St. Patrick's Day levels from the holiday edition. Each level pack is $.99. I'm guessing it will be another 5 or 6 days before it gets approved, but hopefully sooner.

hangon... wait a moment. Does that mean that those people who've bought the H.E. edition will get the new packs (Valentine/St. Patrick) unlocked in the original version?

OR... as I suspect, we'll have to buy them again? I think I know the answer but I would really prefer just one Creeps icon on my phone. Too many apps, too little space!

What do the other peeps think?

 

Updated Creeps HE

Just got the latest update. All my previous unlocked levels disappeared. Probably because all the previous Valentines stages have been replaced. I see a new gold pot tower, but I feel bad that I didn't get to play all the previous stages of the previous HE as they're gone now.

 

Nope, the valentines day levels didn't get replaced. They are just no longer first on the list in the level select. Hit the up/down arrows a few times and you'll find your levels again.

Hmm, if you absolutely HAVE to have only one app installed, then (for now) you would have to buy the level packs to make those levels available in the original Creeps. Currently, having the holiday edition installed doesn't unlock the level packs in the original game, but I CAN add that functionality in an update. Actually, I'll add it to my "to do" list.

 

Did you try scrolling down from the level select screen? That's where I found them.

Really? You could either pay $1.99 for the holiday edition, OR you could wait a couple days and pay $.99 + $.99 (= $1.98) for ALL the same content in the original game. I guess I don't understand what "doesn't feel right"? I thought this was perfectly fair.

I don't get it. So basically the Holiday Edition will continue to get free seasonal updates, while the normal HD version you have to pay 99c for EACH seasonal update?

(still kicking myself for not buying Holiday Edition last month..)
