No, my understanding from the reply on the previous page is that there will only be the 2 'seasons' so no difference, well...other than 1 cent haha :)

I love TD games but never picked this one up. Updated retina graphics might make this must have for me. Seems like a lot of IAP's though.

  3. I've thought of that too, and I don't want anyone being treated unfairly. I've never claimed that all future content will come in free updates. I decided to make the St. Patrick's day update a free one out of appreciation for my awesome customers, but updates cost money to produce, so I can't keep making new content for free forever or I'll go bankrupt :p I'm leaning toward future holiday themes being DLC in both The Creeps (classic) and the holiday edition. That way you can get the same new content for the same amount in whichever version you happen to own without being forced to buy the other one. If you happen to have both, then first of all you are AWESOME, thanks! But secondly, you'll have the option of which version to get the level packs in.

  4. Yep, they've added up. I've been making updates, adding features and producing new content for over 2 years now. With the latest level packs, "The Creeps!" will have 136 levels, 3 game modes (including the unique doorbuster mode that no other TD has that I know of), 30 unique enemies, 6 separate themes, 9 regular towers and 4 accelerometer based super towers (another feature I haven't seen in other TDs), destructible terrain (yes, a THIRD unique feaure that you won't find in other TDs) and some really great hand drawn artwork. Oh yeah, game center high scores and achievements too. Countless hours have gone into making this game what it is today. I really hope you give it a try! My reviewers seem to like it, I think you will too. :D

Classic Tower Defense game in my opinion.Simple to play but requires some strategy too! Funny sound effect as well as change background music to your own ones is interesting. UI is great especially the Valentines' version. People who enjoyed Fieldrunners, TapDefense and Besiegement will love this.

Hah. Well. You know that screen real estate is a precious commodity nowadays... Great to know you will add this functionality, thanks! :D

I've got both. I consider The Creeps! to be one of the best Tower Defense games out there and I've got over ten TD games in my iPod Touch since I am huge fan of TD games. Actually, only one other TD game matches it, which I won't mention here.
However, what I do miss in both The Creeps! is how I could play online and offline and keep all my scores and medals. Back when it was AGON and not Game Center. Now, if I am offline for too long, I lose all my progress and can't really play until I go online again (since I'd start from zero). My solution now is to stay offline all the time and re-unlock all the stages I did before. If this were solved, I'd be very happy since I had a lot of achievements already.

  8. Game Center doesn't support offline scores (yet) which is very frustrating. I've tried to work around it by saving your offline progress and then syncing back up to Game Center when you have internet again. What you describe here shouldn't happen anymore with version 1.5.7. As long as you sign in to Game Center successfully once, you should be good to go with or without internet available from then on. You will be able to try out version 1.5.7 *very* soon...

    **********************************************
Version 1.5.7 got approved moments ago and should be available in the next hour or two!!
    -Retina support!
-Improved offline game center handling (scores, badges, unlocked levels)
-2 new level packs. These are all the Valentine's Day levels from the holiday edition, and all the St. Patrick's day levels from the holiday edition! Now all of you who held off on getting the holiday edition because you didn't want a second version of the game on your device can join in on the new content!
*Level Pack #7 (valentine's day levels) features all new enemies and a powerful (maybe even overpowered??) new tower... "Cupid's Crossbow"! This tower launches an explosive arrow that spawns a heat seeking heart bomb on impact!!
*Level Pack #8 (St. Patrick's Day levels) features all new enemies in a lush new environment and ANOTHER new tower... the "Pot 'O Gold". This tower blasts enemies within a small radius, doing damage, slowing them down and STEALING COINS!! This tower is so powerful, you are only allowed 4 per level!

I don't think future seasonal updates should cost for the Seasons game... for the original, it is fair because they haven't paid for a "Seasons" app. While 2 seasons still does qualify for the word "seasons" (ie more than 1), it is barely "seasons".

  10. @Rblacula.
    1. Personally, I think "The Creeps! Holiday Edition" would be a valid name even if it only had levels featuring a single holiday theme. It's not named "The Creeps! Seasons". Even if it were, the name of the app would not entitle you to free anything.

    2. $1.98 total for the two new level packs and $1.99 for the holiday edition (which currently has the exact same levels) seems fair right now. But if the holiday edition got more levels for free and the original got another level pack for $.99... well that's not fair anymore is it? Especially since those people already paid for the original game... so loyal players would pay more for the same levels?? Really? No, I certainly don't want to do that.

Too many "seasons" and "holiday edition" apps... Sorry. ;) I agree and would gladly pay for more, but quite honestly feel that in certain ways it could be considered fair to cost more in the original due to the fact that a lot of people got this app free a while ago. I purchased this at $1.99 last year in February and am glad I was able to support such an amazing developer.
    Edit: Update's out! Cheers!
I love the Bandwagon approach of advertisement in the description: 1 million downloads; why don't you have it yet? Nice to see that developers can still have good descriptions. Some of them are just plain stupid. "Buy this app" as a full description is in no way clever and merits nothing but bankruptcy. This is one of the few app descriptions I have actually enjoyed reading.

Either there's a bug or the store isn't updated yet, but for some reason only the 6 dlc packs are showing up... I even have the little red "2" badge, but for some reason the 2 new packs aren't showing up... :(

Edit: IDK what's wrong, but I believe you did something to break the crossover? I can't find the Pygmy or Doodler secrets in my help menu anymore... I tap AWESOME 100 times again in the credits and click the Doodler/Egg, but both times nothing happens... If possible, could this be fixed? I love these characters! Oh, and could you add them to Holiday Edition? I still can't get dlc packs 7 or 8 to show up even though I got the 4 notifications upon launch...

Edit 2: I kept doing it until the Pygmy Egg finally did something to trigger the secrets and now they're back! Yay!

Yep, no option to buy the holiday themed ones here either, which sucks for RegularStormy since I was primed to buy them. Oh well, need to get some sleep anyhow so maybe they'll be there tomorrow.

EDIT: Some quick feedback... call me some sort of techno-luddite, but I do not care for the 3D scrolling mosaic level select. I much preferred the old style.

I'll make you a deal. I already purchased the holiday edition. If you figure out a way to transfer my progress from the holiday edition to the regular one, I would be willing to buy the levels again in the regular edition.

I believe its possible, because TowerMadness does something similar.

    What do you think?

I agree. It looks cool, but I would rather have a clear view of the level.

RS: Any chance you could make it an option so that people could turn it off?

Yeah, I hate to complain at what I'm sure was a big sense of satisfaction from the programming implementation side of things, but it doesn't fit the "doodle" style of the rest of the game in any way, plus it hurts usability since what used to be perfectly clear now looks like a bathroom floor. I'd love for it to go away altogether, but an option would be fine as well.

This was an Apple glitch. It took hours for the level packs to appear in the list, and even then you would get an iTunes error trying to purchase them. Apple has resolved the issue, so the new level packs work now!

I am planning on adding a feature in the original game that unlocks the level packs if it detects that you have the holiday edition installed. Your scores however, will not transfer.

I agree, it DOES look cool. ;P Plus it's a big space saver to not have the level preview images (there are over 100 levels!!)... so looks cool + saves memory = win win (it's bi-winning?). What is it exactly that you don't like about the new level select?

Glad to hear it! Thanks :)

    Yesterday I had some glitches:

    http://disk.tom.ru/1c2vg4n

After a while all new towers which I built were placed as white blocks with white lines instead of bullets and beams

p.s. and I also prefer old style maps (make them in both Creeps) :)
