Considering that this game is free for a day, we should at least pay for the DLC to support the developer.
I agree. I downloaded it and enjoyed the first level enough to know I would be playing it for awhile so I bought the 3 DLC packs ASAP. Awesome game but I'm not the best at it.
thanks for the free game devs! and lots of content it seems! I don't typically get into TD games but I'm definitely enjoying this and PvZ right now.
Anyone like to share some tips? I do fine playing easy but I sometimes struggle on normal levels and hard I usually get destroyed. What are some of the best strategies or better weapons to place? Is it best to upgrade things right away or lay out more weapons?
Are you destroying all the terrain you can? ...that will net you extra cash...focus the guns on them between waves and focus back on creeps when they appear -the glue is definitely helpful, i would upgrade that as much as i could -I really like the boomerangs for their range and AOE damage -use the paper throwing stars on straightaways where a bunch of creeps will get hit at once -if you can afford to upgrade a gun, i would do that before placing a new, weak gun...but sometimes it's better to have more boomerangs than an upgraded single boomerang I'm sure there are others who can give you a lot more/better advice...but I hope this helps.
As stupid as it sounds I didn't realize that destoying terrain gained you money I just thought it helped you drop more weapons. Now that I know that I can plan where to put the items and what I should take out to earn some money. Did a couple levels and I'm doing much better. Additional tips are always welcomed. If I have additional questions I'll be sure to ask here.
I haven't found that the glue helped me much so far. I've played a lot of levels and it was never really helpful to me winning.
on some levels with a lot of bosses (like the last level, Boss room blitz) the glue tower is critical
im stuck! Im on a level where it has the spider, the 1st tower, the boomerang, and flashlight. Highest ive gotten is 45 with 1 health left. But, i can never defeat any of the bosses! I destroy the terrain too
The oil helps a lot, but I haven't found the glue helping with those. On those levels I usually get the UFO thing or spider etc. @The prez 12521 Which level and game mode are you playing?

Oh that one. It's a bit tricky. Start off with the blaster thing, upgrade it ASAP. Start shooting the trees in between waves and get the boomerang. When you get the boomerang upgrade it once or twice, get the flashlight upgrade that fully. Always go for the objects in between rows or whenever you can. It's a bit of playing around with your tower positioning, there is no real definitive way of winning this
thats what ive been doing..i also sell the spider because it serves as nothing to me but 600 i dont have...is this good or bad?
I was basically going to say what stuffradio already did. And I wouldn't sell the spider, it's the only way to get creeps and bosses to slow down and give you more time since there aren't any glue towers available in this level.
Agreed, I have sold towers before but I never win in those levels. There are a few where I managed to sell the one I needed the least and still keep the other. The levels with the UFO are definitely a plus because that thing is so powerful!
I just did this one yesterday on normal difficulty. Don't sell the spider! The idea is they don't let you use glue to slow down the creeps but they give you the spider which can also be used to help slow down enemies or bosses. Just play as normal building defense and when a boss appears use the spider to slow him down in the area with the most fire power. And go tackle some Door Buster levels, that is the best mode.
