Hey Everybody! Been a few days since we have posted, for which I am sorry, so many things to go on about, but I will leave that for the blog post which should be going up by tomorrow. I am just proofreading it at the moment. But for now enjoy a new playtest video, showcasing moving water (work in progress) and lots of enemies! Woo! Let us know what you think!
Hey UC! Ya, fatigued is a good word for how we are feeling. But we will never give up! We will finish this game no matter what. Thank you so much for your support!
Haven't checked this thread in a while, but just watched the vid and it seems like the game is coming along great! You know, I'm working on some AI code myself and it's pretty hard to make more advanced AI. Anyway, keep up the good work, I want this game out on the App Store
Hey jumpman! Ya, we want the game out there as well, the sooner the better, but it seems like we just keeping running head long in to road blocks at every turn. But we shall persevere! If you know any good UnreaScript coders feel free to pass along our information!
Haha yeah I know exactly how you feel. It can get pretty frustrating but I'm sure it'll pay off in the end And yeah, will do.
Howdy SailorSimon! Thank you so much for taking a look at our work! The more interest the better! Feel free to comment on anything you see. We hope so! Thank you!!
Hey everyone! I know it has been a REALLY long time since Raveen or myself have posted here, but we have been quite busy with this, that and the other. Development has slowed way down, and until we can find an UnrealScript programmer we probably won't be able to make much headway, though as with anything, there is always something to do. Raveen is currently working on some freelance stuff to bring in some money and I am updating my portfolio once again, with some new characters (unrelated to the game). We are also currently seeking out a publisher to aid us in our struggle and endeavour. We aren't quite sure what the role of a publisher is per-se, but we are hoping that some kind of support is inclusive... ha. If worse comes to worse I will simply have to take up learning UDK once again, though the thought keeps me awake at night... We really apologize for our negligence and tardiness, and as such have dated the games release for "To Be Determined" it is the only responsible thing to do in our situation, we are really uncomfortable with our continual broken promises. As always we will post any and all updates to Kullvaria right here for you fine folks. Sincerely, -Michael
Hey Everyone. So we have been Away From Keyboard for awhile, but we finally have some great news to report! At last we have found a programmer! Woo!! We are still working things out with him, in terms of what needs doing, but this is definitely a boon to our production. There is still no ETA on submission, we are going to leave it as TBD for now, but as soon as we have more concrete timelines we will update you guys ASAP! We hope you are all still as awesome as we remember!
Hello everyone! Just wanted to chime in to say hi and reiterate what Michael had mentioned about finding a programmer. Which is a real relief and we're anxious to get this project back on track! Hopefully we can get you guys some new media soon!
Hey everyone! Just wanted to let you guys know that we have a new blog post updated, just a quick one to give you awesome pirates an update on our happenings. BLAM
CONGRATS on the Finding a programmer! Hopefully you guys have been busy with your development duties in the meantime. As a UDK game, I hope this has sufficient polish as well as fun, addictive gameplay. Also, if I may, I suggest having at least a small variety in playable maps. I like what I've seen in the ship so far but a pirate themed, beach landscape would be something really cool to play in. That would also be fun to see a sea creature mini boss battle after several rounds of surviving (assuming it's wave-based). Just a few ideas to shoot some morál your way. Well, Good Luck. Definitely looking fwd to seeing how this turns out.
I love dual-Stick/Twin Stick top down shooters! My favorite game genre. Looking forward to this one. Is there a target date for release?
Hey Madman! Ya, we are definitely looking to make something professional. The thing is, that right now we have very little resources to bring users the full package pre-release, if we were to attempt that, well we would end up like FEZ. So for now, our plan is to release a new level with each new major version. IE. Version 1: Pirate Ship Version 2: Beach Version 3: Forest etc. Between each version we will dedicate ourselves to things like bug fixes (obviously) new features (for example, version 1.5 will have Level 1 - Story mode), etc. We definitely have a lot of plans for this game providing the community digs it. We realize Version 1 won't be the cream of the crop, but we are willing to work at our vision. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your great ideas with us. It is so funny that a lot of your thoughts mirror our plans. Hey Harry! We too love twin stick shooters, which is why we decided to make one. We also really felt like there was a market for our ideas to florish. There used to be a target date, but we have had to push back release 3 times so far due to a lot of unforeseen circumstances (you can read about these on the blog! ). So now we are leaving our submission date as To Be Determined. We hate breaking our promises to players because we know how it feels. Thank you so much for your wonderful comment! Haha. Yes!
This news is both cool and uncool. UDK games usually go up a lot in mb But when can we see more gameplay?
