:D We are trying to keep things lighthearted and playful. Thanks!

Hey Ciro! Thank you so much for checking us out and following us, we always appreciate the support from the community. Some of the geometry that hinders the players view is intended, like the ropes from the mast, and the tentacle holding on to the broken mast. Though we are still playing with distance and sizing so that while it gives the player a dynamic 'wrecked ship' feeling, it isn't hindering the user from actually playing. :)

I'm sure Raveen will come by and say hello, but I just wanted to say thanks anyways! :)

We are super excited for its release. July is going to be insanely busy for us as we crunch hard core. As long as I don't get too many days like yesterday (allergies pretty much disabled me) then we should be in the green.

Once again thank you to EVERYONE for you amazing support! We love hearing all feedback from the community, be it good and bad.

    you guys rock!

Thank you! Yup, you know Hugo. He likes his fun!

    Hello Ciro,

Thank you so much for your comments! :)

As for the clipping, as Michael mentioned, we're still playing around with the location of certain things and the sizes, though, we spent a while planning out that tentacle that holds the mast on the second deck, we moved him far back so he doesn't take up too much room or be a hinderance unless you really just want to go to the corner and see him!

Thank you again, we try and push out updates everyday so awesome members like yourself can have a look and give us comments (as mentioned before, good or bad!)

Thank you so much Redskull. I'm having a blast working on them! :)

    Hello Monkey,

Thank you again. We can't wait till this is released for the masses, we've put so much into it. :D

Again, as Michael had mentioned, we'd like to thank everyone so much for supporting us.

    Cookies for everyone!

    Hello everyone,

We're sorry for the lack of updates the last few days, it's been a busy week. Michael hasn't been feeling very well either, though he has been doing work in UDK even though his wife and I told him to take some rest. Maybe he'll listen to you guys if you tell him to get some rest. :p

Here's an update for the day, a quick render (I was away from the computer so I figured it should be doing some work rather than sit idle. :p)

As you've probably noticed this animation is different than what I had initially. He was stumbling back in the earlier preview. Though, that animation seemed rather long for a death and it probably would have bored the player waiting for him to drop and die (well, I would get bored!)

How is everyone doing today? Getting ready for the long weekend? :)

    Hey Redskull,

As much as we'd like to do that, we won't be making July 1st. As mentioned before, we've changed our release date to July 30th.

Thanks naturon! We love that you love it! :D

To everyone else, I am really sorry for the huge lack of updates as of late. A lot of things have been going down lately, some of which we will discuss in tomorrows dev diary and some of which I will discuss on the blog. And then, some of which I can't discuss at all, until after the release of the game. Or at least, closer to launch date.

You guys are super cool! :D

Thanks...we are all excited to see this puppy arrive...I'm even more stoked, to see what happens with the game over time. I think it will blossom from initial reallly awesome into awesome uber bad assery, especially with the plans you mentioned for updates :p

Hey Madman! Thanks so much! By any chance do you read the Nightside series by Simon R. Green? :p I only ask because there is a character that is introduced in book four called Madman. :)

Ya we are hoping for this too. Whatever the initial release brings, we are definitely not stopping there. We expect lower score reviews actually, because of the lack of content, but as we release our planned updates I think people will see that we are more than just that. :)

Just a quick update for you guys, for anyone that doesn't follow us on Facebook or Twitter. We have been set back this week due to computer issues on my side, my power supply just up and died, so I had to run around looking for a store that sold them.

But we are back up now, I am working through UnrealScript bit by bit by bit.... It is a little daunting, but we can do it! haha. Raveen is working through his list of animations.

Our Dev Diary will probably be short today due to lack of updates, but we will see. I am thinking about writing a blog post about computer repairs and what kind of impact it has on indie developers / home businesses. My last post regarding Working From Home had the most views of any post, so I think people really dig the whole 'behind the scenes with indie devs' type thing.

Anyways, back to the grind stone!

Aww man, one would think after it happened to so many guys before, you won't fall for the same thing, but some things are just beyond or reasonable behaviours.
Feel really sry for you guys !
Hope you can get your stuff together and be back on track really soon !
Very interested in new material of yours :)

And the beauty of us living the experience along side of you folks (the devs) is the ups and downs that come along the way, all part of the beauty and fun of it IMHO ;). Hope everyone is on track to feeling better and hardware issues are a thing of the past (for now!) . Take care, and best of luck!

    Hello everyone!

Sorry I haven't been posting much, been kinda busy doing the animations and working on freelance stuff, that and I've been slacking off on my forum and blog duties. :p

Thank you so much Blown454. We really enjoy sharing our experiences with the community. Both the ups and the downs (no production is perfect. :p)

We wish we could support devices lower than the 3GS. We really do. :(
I hope you can get an upgrade sometime soon!

    Hey Groove Masters!

Quick question for you guys. What do you folks look for in a website? And what do you absolutely hate? Since we are not website creators we are thinking that simplicity is king.

We would love your likes and dislikes regarding developer websites. :)

Also, blog post is going to be put up shortly. Waiting for final proofing from Raveen. (we proof each others posts).

I hate stuff that is animated via flash or anything else.
When I go through a game's webpage I wanna be able to see the most important things, something about the developers, something about the games and on top of that, interesting blog entries :)

    "simplicity is king"
No lightbox galleries, no fancy menu stuff.
Clickable buttons and pictures of the game:

But I think you already have the right masterplan. I caaaaan't wait until I can view your new home. Finally no sadpanda black colors all over - promise me this :D

Holy enchanted cutlass of Kaflu, batman!

This reminds me of Bug Heroes with Minigore, Monkey Island and, dare I say, Pillsbury Doughboy + Miyazaki-staple "spirits," all combined into one mash of love.

The only thing crazier than the fact that I missed the development of this (which is documented in a sublimely accessible manner that is invaluable for the community at large) is how much fun this game is potentially going to be.

Keep up the fantastic work. I salute you!

    Hey Acumen,

Yeah, I don't usually like flash websites as well. Especially when it keeps crashing the flash player plugin and you have to restart your browser!

Thank you for the links to those sites, they're really cool. Sweet and simple. :D

    Hi Nullroar,

Thank you so much for your kind comments! We're glad you can follow the development now and hopefully you enjoy the trip on the high seas as we sail to Kullvaria!
