How much do you think I could sell my original 360 for? If I could get $100-$150, since I wanted the wi-fi adapter so I could move it away from my computer, I'd pony up the other $50 (the adapter costs $100) for the new, smaller Xbox.
I'm glad you guys are willing to be the guinea pigs for the new console, there's not a chance in hell I'm risking another console from MS with a 33% failure rate. Give it a year and another price drop then I'll destroy my current one and upgrade
Well, the AAA games shown during the first half of the show looked pretty sweet (MGS had me drooling). However, I suspect that the, "Free Xbox360 Slim for all attendee's" was a form of compensation for sitting through the snore fest that was Kinect.
If the xbox 360 slim is real then im gonna s**t my pants http://e3.gamespot.com/story/6265356/xbox-360-slim-confirmed EDIT: Someone beat me too it.
Unless the new slim no longer has such a high failure rate (as in below double digits), I won't be picking one up. One of the best things Microsoft could've given us in E3 is finally fixing the damned RRoD that never should've been there to begin with. And on a slightly related note, disappointed about Natal. Seems to me that they're stalling to hide the fact that they still have unfinished technology, but that's just me.
I.E. build quality. There's gonna be a giant wave of complaints if they did actually find an solution to the problem and then decided not fix it.
On Nintendo's site it says their conference begins at 9 am Pacific time, what is that in Eastern Standard time?
GFAQs Poll of the Day Now that you've seen it, what do you think of Microsoft's Kinect? I'm amazed, I can't wait to get it - 3.5% It's interesting, I'll have to try it out - 8.62% It's neat, but I want to see more games - 14.22% It's fine, but I don't see myself buying it - 28.17% Ugh, when will the motion control fad end? - 45.48% TOTAL VOTES - 35469
"One-to-one Legend of Zelda experience" my butt, based on how he was slicing downward and Link sliced upward. Obviously they've still got tons of work to do. @Midian: Yeah... Can't say I'm quite impressed with it yet. The technology is still being developed, so hopefully by the time it's released they have something better to show for it. We'll see how Move turns out.
