KID ICARUS ON 3DS!!!!!!!!!! This is so amazing, I can't wait . Also, Resident Evil, Metal Gear Solid, Assasin's Creed, Kingdom Hearts, even Saints Row is making it's way on to Nintendo's groundbreaking handheld.
And Kid Icarus... KID ICARUS!!! About flaming time! And another Resident Evil! And Starfox! Damn, 3DS is getting off to a killer start! On a related note, the controls on Zelda look like they still need a fair bit of tweaking. Thank god it's not out until 2011.
They never confirmed Star Fox but I'm sure the Arwing flying out of the 3DS was a nice hint. Edit: In the special episode on e3.nintendo.com Miyamoto is being interviewed about the 3DS and he gave Starfox as an example about how a shooting game would work.
I have no reason to doubt the controls of Zelda. Some serious wireless issues were going on. Game critics should be able to tell if it works or not since the game is playable at e3, plus it ships 2011 so they have a ton of time to improve it.
I imagine that's right. The 3Ds looks sweet and will likely pick it up when available. I still want to see the 3D effect in person: it could very well turn out to be an annoying gimmick. I'm also concerned about cost. New unit, all new games (don't expect a viable used market for a while). Nintendo's strategy has been low-cost-fun, but it seems like they're stepping into a different territory with this. Unless Sony is announcing a PSP2 at E3, they'll have a tough time competing in the handheld market.
Only if they announce PSP4D, with wind and smells! Really, I was blown away. All wanting of the iPad and iPhone 4 went away in a heart beat. Too many good games coming out for the 3DS when it's released, plus all the 3D features?! Portable 3D movies with NO GLASSES! 3D picture taking! SIMPLY AWE INSPIRING.
I'm actually really hoping for a portable version of Super Mario Sunshine, if they do that then they will have almost every single mainstream Mario game on handhelds. I'm also really looking forward to Kirby's Epic Yarn, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Goldeneye, Zelda, Metroid and everything about the 3DS. I wonder when it will be released?

Do you guys think that the 3D is kinda steroscopic because your eyes are kinda crossed while looking at the the small screen?
Whatever floats your boat. Regardless of what Nintendo says, I don't see these devices really in competition. The 3DS still looks like a clunky device for pretty much anything else besides gaming. And as an input device, the stylus is still stuck in the 20th century. For games, though, it looks killer. And if the 3D works as advertises, it may very well lead to a new era in gaming.
Well, maybe not the iPhone 4, but the iPad 1G definitely. I would use the iPad more as a portable gaming device, so the Nintendo 3DS would be better for that. I'd still use my iPod for music and time waster games, but not for gaming like I do now.
You better not be talking about Air Ride... Anyways Nintendo's conference was amazing. I am writing a full blown review on the whole thing.
