Ok, need to change my App Store search from "SuperHero" into "The Hero" xD when I turn my phone on I always go into App Store and search for this game! Why don't you publish it by yourself btw?
Because it's better to release it with a well-known publisher and they get more money. (I think so..)
Yeah, it's hard to say what a publisher does for you in the case of an iPhone game release with no real advertising. That being said the "Chillingo" brand name at this point carries some decent cache, so, if nothing else, just having it seen a Chillingo game (as many don't get the difference between publishers and developers), the average gamer is going to think, "Oh, I like their previous stuff, let's give this one a try!" moreso than some completely unknown game developer coming onto the scene.
Did Chillingo come to you and ask about publishing it or did you have to go to them and give them a big sales pitch?

What are you opinions on the Chillingo's upcoming game 'The Hero'? What are your thoughts on it, looks good to me?
I'm looking forward to it, the gameplay style looks similar to MiniSquadron which I really liked, so I'll pick this up for sure.
