I guess the most obvious answer is "why not zombies" but I'm guessing that's probably not enough for you. For me the zombies add another layer to the game, and they certainly bring the gameplay closer to Half-Life; they also fit well with the overall mood of the story -- something has gone horribly wrong with the Infinity Project. They're not very gross, though they do engage in fairly gross behavior . They can certainly be scary, though, particularly when you're in a particularly dark level, or when they catch you by surprise.
I bought it and played it for like 1/2 hour and the game is great as it is, so I guess it will be awesome with the update. Can't wait!
iPad!! Oh my goodness!!! Just messing around this morning, I increased all of the texture resolutions on the 2.0 update and ran a quick build on for the iPad. All I have to say is it looks amazing! Unbelievable!! WOW!!!! JL
I see. Usually updates go through in a few days, but this is more like a new game with the same name, so who knows.
I've just purchasing it last day to get it at the right price but haven't time to play except for few minutes. Would it be a good idea to play it now without updating before ending the first version to have two different games ? Or am I a little crazy ?
