OFFICIAL WEBSITE | TWITTER | FACEBOOK Hey everyone! We are happy to introduce you our new game The Mesh. The game will be released on the AppStore on July 9th 2015. After launching our first game Stubies last year, we are very excited about our second title. We've been working really hard on the gameplay and on the beautiful design. We hope you'll like it! Join the race of the Jade Emperor, and unlock the 12 creatures of the ancient zodiac. Combine the numbered tiles and find the best way to achieve the highest score possible. But, be careful and think twice every move! If The Mesh runs out of cells, the game is over. Hello. Is this game like those number games where you continuously add the numbers together? The graphics look very impressive and creative, I would love to hear more about the game. Thanks!
Hey, Thank you for the comments! We worked really hard on this. Yes, The Mesh is a game about numbers where you've got to combine the different tiles to achieve a certain goal. If you leave a number and don't use it, the mesh loses cells. You can recover this cells later, but if you run out of cells, the game is over. We think the game is quite innovative. We designed the gameplay and the game mechanics from scratch trying to add something new. I hope you'll like it! Here is a short video to get a first impression: Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel The Mesh is an iOS Universal app (iPhone + iPad)
Thanks for posting the video. It definitely did give a first impression. Don't worry, it's a good impression. I can see that you all worked very hard on this. Nice looking graphics. Soothing music..... A bit surreal. With so many games in the same genres out there, it's tough to find one that stands out above the others in uniqueness and creativity. It's very possible that you may have succeeded in adding that unique twist. Of course, I am making these assumptions based off of watching the posted video. I really like the idea of part of the playing platform disappearing, making it tougher and more unique. Another question though... The clover. What is it for? I could not tell if it is part of the equations or not. Thanks!
Thanks for the extra information, CreatiuLab. I am glad The Mesh is Universal and given that, I am quite excited to see the released game.
About the clover: This is an advanced feature, you don't need to use it for the basic gameplay, but it might be helpful Some tiles have got extra items. In this case the yellow 6 has a small clover You get this extra items if you score with them. Example: In this case the goal is 4 (white tile): 6 - 2 (opposite colors subtract) results into 4, the goal So you earn the clover The clover allows the user to play the Risk Wheel. He spins the wheel and recovers 3 cells In this case the player was lucky and recovered cells, but the outcome of the Risk Wheel isn't always positive. It's up to you to spin the wheel or skip it
Hi, Here is a short overview about the basic game mechanics. We designed everything from scratch starting with a simple concept in mind. Join numbers to match a certain number. If you dont get rid of all the numbers on the board, you lose cells Everything is build around this basic idea. Creating something new isnt always easy and you may fail, but we think it is worth the risk! Add and substract Lose and recover cells Multiply and divide (optional tile). Get extra items (like a X2 tile in this case).
The Mesh will be in English, French, German, Portuguese, Catalan and Spanish And other languages will follow soon
Hey everyone, Here some promo codes to celebrate our launch tomorrow!! AAKEY7FLTFTM JLRA4JWPXNPF R64ME7PHXNA4 A3P44HEY76TW We hope you enjoy the game!
Finally managed to grab myself a promo code! Have been wanting to play this game forever, and now that I have it was well worth the wait. The game is incredible. It contains amazing artwork (sometimes cute) and gameplay that is possibly the first of it's kind. The game is right in it's challenging nature and urges the person to play just one more time. It's a math minded game but will appeal to people who are not good at math too! Overall I love the game and congratulate the dev of an unique and fun game. P.S. Will the game be free or paid
The graphics on this are really great. Everything looks very polished. Looking forward to trying this out when you launch on Thursday!
