Thanks again for the help, I'm an idiot and didn't complete the previous step; hence there was no slot.
Just finished it, and yes, it lives up to the first title’s promise. ^_^ I’ll admit, it didn’t have quite the same impact on me as the first, probably due to the similar nature of the puzzles, making for reduced novelty - all the same, highly atmospheric, intriguing, and engaging. Easily recommended. (On that note, I wonder how the next instalment of Lume is progressing..)
Since The Room and The Room Two are apparently similar in gameplay, would it be better just to play the sequel only?
Anyone noticed that the clock in the main title screen is actually synchronized with your iPad's clock? That's really neat!
OK I'm completely stuck in the parlor (room with camera and tarot cards). I've activate the hidden box on the table and now it says Spoiler Voyage on the chalkboard. Nothing I do with that card works. The hint system has also completely stopped working; I've turned it off and back on several times and it won't give me anything. All I can do is stare at the word and look around the room. Coog
slightly stuck in the camera/tarot room. Just Spoiler activated the camera, so the type writer just popped out of the desk. all the hints refer to a key that i have to manipulate then use to unlock the drawers at the back of the desk, however I missed the key / never picked it up, and am wondering where it is Any advice?
Spoiler you need to enter the code on the mirror to have the first box reappear. If you don't have the 2nd code, then there is still something you need to do with the ornate, gold castle looking box. I hope that helps.
thanks, yeah, wasn't looking throughougly enough. just beat the room 2 and went back to room 1, blazed through it, at the epilogue now. these games are great
Argh! Still too short! I finished it in two sittings but I could have easily done it in one... That shows how much engrossing this series is even if the overall story doesn't make much sense. Everyone with an iPad must own this game. Period.
Yep just finished it tonight, bit short but fantastic anyway. Love both games and I'm not normally a puzzle type of person. Spoiler what was with the boat scene though??
Spoiler I think it's supposed to be a metaphor. You crossing the river, a step towards the end of a journey...
Just finished this game and all I can say is WOW. Fireproof did it again, can't wait to see their next effort!
Fun puzzles but similar to the original in every way. My gf loved it though. Does anyone understand the story?
