I have purchased the territory with the Oasis, but I still have the quest listed as incomplete. So... if you've purchased the territory with the Oasis before having been given the quest (or the quest does not mark off), you have to start the game all over or you can't proceed?
Well if you can't complete key quests you can not proceed to future quest...such as moving to the next island. You can send in a help request with Insight's support staff and see if they can help you out. For myself....I just chose to restart the game.
I have to say, that is some seriously BAD game design, if they don't either a) make it impossible to do things till you unlock related quests, or b) keep track of what you've already done, so that quests you've already completed are marked off as such. If people are having to throw out all their progress because of things like that, there's a major problem. (Especially as this doesn't always seem to be the case: there were a couple of territories on the first island that I opened up without prompting, but all quests related to them seemed to mark off just fine.) I hope they fix this sort of problem in their next update, because I know that if I run into such an issue, I won't have the patience to do everything again; I will just delete the app. :-(
OUCH.....that was a big decision after progressing that far Deeneez..... Gosh that's a bit weird about the oasis restoration...I'm sure when I clicked on it before I got the quest to restore it....it said not ready to do this yet.....along those lines....haha, I wasn't going to start doing it anyway cause I knew to wait until Aurora spoke..... The only thing that will be easier second time round is you will be more savvy with your game play.....phew, I don't know if I could have done it this far in......what level WERE you on? Good luck and take your time.....wait on the quests hehe
New update!!! FINALLY, the new update has arrived! Dowloading now so don't know what it's like yet! Off to walk the dog now so will find out as soon as I get back! Kids will have to wait for their tea
Hurray! Loving the new update! I think it's still going to take a while to do all the tasks needed to get to the fourth island, but there are loads of new quests to pass the time. I was pleasantly surprised to find there are quests on all three islands, and new territories to purchase on the first island. Lots & lots to do - in fact why am I still here? I need to go and play!!
OMG! Where to start?? So much to do!!! Have you seen how much some of those expansions cost?? MEGA bucks!! I thought I was doing quite well to save so much money during the last 3 or more quiet weeks with nothing else to do but it's not going to go very far! 1.5 million for some of the expansions!! Oh well, best get on!! Enjoy!
You just have to be patient. I play a few games and I'm on shift work so I sort things out around them. I must admit I've spent about £1000 on diff games over the years but I do regret it when the iTunes bill comes through. If your rich go for it but if your like me living from month 2 month then be careful cause the bills soon mount up. I'm on level 37 so if you get stuck let me know. Ness #
Help please? I just traveled to the 2nd island and made the mistake of using up too much of my food to be able to build a pig farm. So I thought maybe I could move a pig farm from the first island, by putting it in the warehouse and then moving it to the second island. Well, it went into the warehouse just fine, but now it's nowhere to be found! It's not listed in my inventory. So is it lost forever? Do I have to just wait and harvest from the berry bushes till I reach enough food to build the pig farm on the second island? Or is there another way to get food to the second island faster? Thanks! Duh! There was a tab for the warehouse I didn't notice & found the pig farm. Didn't the update mention being able to take resources to other islands? Anyone know how to do that?
Hi Aly - that sounds like a touch of the 'girlpower'! She loses a plane and you lose a pig farm!! What are you like! I'm pretty sure that you can't move the pig farms from island to island, the new update today allows you to transfer lumber, marble etc but no mention of buildings. Did you try clicking on the rucksack icon to see if it was in storage there? If you cant find it I'm afraid you'll just have to wait in those fruit bushes Good luck! New update is very good by the way! LOADS to do! Should keep me quiet for a while
Update Looks like the update is for ipad only. I am still on the first island so not to worried yet. Just about ready to start my last quest as soon as I have enough stone (37 minutes and ticking down).
You can do it, but you have to build a zeppelin harbour first. Once that's built you go into maps and click on the zeppelin balloon thing and then you can move stuff around! It takes a while though!
Yay update! So many new things to build/do! Of course I still have a broken quest on the Marble Fiord... First island is a little pokey on the new iPad when you scroll around... Can't wait to tackle these new quests. It's been a while since I logged in... on the first island it looks like 16 treasure chests have spawned while I've been away and everything is overgrown...
Has anyone managed to get the "pilgrim" achievement to work? I've bought several new territories since the achievements list was introduced, and they all seem to work except that one - it still says 0/3 - any thoughts?
Ha! Ha! I pulled a GP! (at least for a little while ) I found the pig farm....duh! The rucksack had a tab I didn't notice and ta da, there it was.
Phew!!!! Good on Jazbo (to Alys rescue)... I was about to suggest the same thing but then saw you had posted it.... Easy enough to miss the second tab.....haha, I definitely didn't see a wrecked plane sitting in my storage.....think my Ghost plane experience will remain uniquely mine, haha Hehe, Aly....bet you wouldn't normally be sooo happy to find a pig farm (sorry piggies, I do love ya really)
Thought I was about ready to leave the first island. Only had one quest left showing, build another Mansion and then I was ready to sail away. As soon as the building was complete 3 more quest showed up Upgrade the Mansions, collect revenue from Masions and even worst find sneakers and sunglasses in the plane. Sneakers and sunglasses, give me a break Does anyone remember if there are any more quest after these? I have had the quest to go to island 2 for a long time but I do not want to go until I am done with all the quest on the first one.
