I would suggest you do get to the second Island cause the first step is to build pig farms ASAP. Can't grow crops there, so just clear enough space to get your pig farms going...oh and more warehouses unless you intend to use gems to upgrade them...(I don't) Initially there's only one or two fruit bushes (from memory) until you buy land expansions, so food is very scarce. Not sure if you know there's a new update out dean??? Already been posted on here a few posts up...... Anyway....your first Islands quests are about to get a whole lot bigger plus there's Island expansions, more buildings to build, new decorations...phew EDIT....oh, I forgot you are playing from your iPhone.....someone mentioned the update wasn't out for that yet.....surely it will be very soon though?
I quickly scanned the the thread but didn't see the answer. I'm level 38 right now but for some reason Marble Fiord is still telling me I need to buy the expansion with the broken idol. This was probably done out of turn so the question is: is there any way to remedy this and get the game to recognize I completed that quest or do I have to delete the game and start over (probably wont take the time to play it through again)?
Even after all these updates that quest is still broken. Were you able to fix the idol? If you then you should be OK and the bug is just cosmetic... I still see that quest on my screen even though I've already purchased it and complete re-built the idol.
@GP, Thanks for the advice. Have made my way over to the second island and started a pig farm. I did not realize that moving between islands was so easy and that the quest for the first island would continue. Hopefully the iphone will get it's update soon. I am excited to get the features you guys are talking about.
Nope, I'm almost on lvl 37, hasn't recognized my completion either If you look at your achievements via GC, it lists these Islands as separate achievements, yet hasn't rewarded me there either? Another glitch they need to sort out I guess
Maybe cause I started after you lot, but since latest update mine is just asking me to upgrade it to enable me to do a ‘standard deal' (I think).....currently doing the upgrade, then need to complete the deal, so will see what happens after that and let you know
Hehe, we learn as we go.....in hindsight I wish I had snooped over there sooner rather than deciding to almost complete all quests on Island one first...just to start building some pig farms to help out.....I have 4 plus the fruit bushes and has usually been enough (just) depends on how patient you are.... Probably wouldn't work for Jazbo (let's see if she bites)
Hi, there - I have the same problem - it seems that if you buy the territory before you get the quest, you cannot complete the quest. Sorry I can't be of any help, but I am looking into it!
All I have to say to those starting again is one word -- RESPECT! I started this game on my iPad and am still progressing along, thing is I don't always have my iPad with me so I was psyched it came for the iPhone. HOWEVER, it was not the universal update I had been hoping for! So, at level 28 on the iPad I started over on the iPhone. I think I am even further along on my iPhone just cuz I can bring that anywhere and can do little tasks anytime I need to, but I see how difficult it is to start again! SO hats off to you that started again! I think my playing the second time through is making me a smarter player and more efficient with placements and realizing the importance of the order of quests (do the mansions and stuff before the Shaman Shop for instance in order to get more villagers to do things) so all is not lost if I gain knowledge. Anyway the update is indeed only for the iPad at this point so I was given lots more to do there than the Phone but surely that Phone update can't be too far behind. Or it doesn't really matter I suppose - it will get here when it gets here! One thing though, certain achievements don't register even when I have clearly accomplished them - like moving to the second island. I am there, got the Pig Farms and houses to prove it, but according to the Game Center I haven't!
Game Center I also am on the second island and no achievement in Game Center. I am beginning to wonder if it is a Game Center problem. People are commenting that GC is not updating properly with a couple of other games I play.
SNAP SNARL!!! Don't know what you mean GP!! I have 2 pig farms on the first island and 4 on each of the other islands. Don't think that will be enough with this new update though! You need more and more food for each building or quest! As quick as the food is ready I've used it all again! Think I'm going to have to build more warehouses to!
Hehe, reel 'em in One thing to remember though Jaz....you can now also transport food from Island to Island once your zeppelin Harbour is built.I have upgraded both mineso have two carriers available on first Island and three on second Island, mainly so I could get more marble back to the first....can still level them up more but this has been handy so far....what level are you now?...I'm closing the game and nipping at your heels on GC (points wise now)
Yep, my zeppelin has been busy transporting marble!! just building my second one now. Everything takes soooo long!!! I'm only level 37 - So you've caught me up! It's great having loads more to do though Not had any luck with that other game this evening fail fail fail!! Oh well, I have a week off on holiday now so plenty of time to play and rack up those gc points

Getting dizzy! Do you ever feel like you're going round and round in circles??? I am enjoying the new update, but there is so much shipping between islands!! I keep forgetting why I was transferring materials!! Probably something to do with my age.........
When does the first island 'end'? I have no more quests and have started building up my the 2nd island. However, on the 1st island there is still one hut in the south but when I click it aurora says we dont know how to use it yet. Also if I click the raft she says its unclear what to do with it. Anyone know whats up with this? (playing on iPhone)
Finally got the resources I sent! Some how they now show up in my resource list..not sure where the first lot went! Now trying to get a sand pit and marble finishing plant, but keeps telling me I have to complete quests! Will keep trying. Thanks for all you tips everyone.
