Hi GP, thanks for the tips! Have already discovered the glitches for myself, very annoying they are to! Yep, I have 4 sandpits and 3 marble processing mills and hardly any land left to see on the third island. Will have to try squeezing that hot tub in somewhere or else some of my palm trees will have to go I don't bother shipping sand anymore - got too annoying! I just make all the cut marble on the third island and then ship it where I need it, I found this much quicker! Better go and get started on my hot tubs then! UPDATE - I just finished my last quests for sandbags etc, then I got the quest for 3 long deals in the shaman shops and then I got access to the 4th island! I didn't need to build a hot tub!! What's that all about? I assumed we all had to do the same quests?? Anyway, the 4th island looks very pretty and I am going to take it VERY SLOW!
@ Jazbo......say what!!!! That's bizarre that you can access the 4th Island without the starfish hunt? When the quest first came up, it said to buy them cause I didn't have any hot tubs....blow that, so I built one plus I have to build a hotel and couldn't do that till I finished finding 5 star fish plus....think it was oyster pearls from either the Sharman shops or trading posts....got those two days ago...... So now I can build the hotel quest ( have to wait till tomorrow) as not enough spare workers anyway. I can't access 4th Isalnd cause Aurora says it's very difficult, and I still need the support of the stone oasis, explore the UFO and develop my 3rd Island??? There's no further requests to explore the UFO? Hope I am not going to be stuck and can't access the darn thing now You would think we would all have to do the same stuff to get there? Did you have to at least build a hotel on 3rd Island? Why do I feel you are going to say no...... Also have you completed the final stage of your stone guardian? Another thing that I have noticed.......on the map showing all the Islands....I noticed on the third Island the stone guardian is showing but the UFO isn't? Yet on the other two Islands crashed plane, ship wreck plus both stone idols are showing....can you confirm if this is the same with yours....eek hope so
Do I detect a bit of panic mode here GP??? Ok, here goes, yes I did have to build a hotel so stop worrying! I had upgraded the stone guardian to level 4 and did the longest deal. I did the oyster pearls quest and then the sandbag one. I gave up on the cave search and used 12 gems instead because I tried about a dozen times with no luck. I never got asked about starfish from the hot tubs but I do remember doing that one on a different island a long time ago? I've checked out my maps for you and there is no sign of the UFO! Hopefully you'll be able to access the 4th island once you've built your hotel? You also need a store of 300 sand 600 food and something else that I can't remember!! I did that at 7 this morning and that was hours ago! My memory is rubbish! I've made some progress on the 4th island, done my first expansion, but it's very slow going!! There is very little room to build and you have to keep getting resources from your other islands which really slows things down! I hope you get there very soon! Still waiting for the option to visit each others islands! PS there are also loads of bridges to build on the 4th island so start stockpiling your sand!!!!!!
@ Jaz..... Phew, that's a relief then...... Yes, there was a slight panic after reading your post last night.... It was on the first Island that we had a quest to find x amount of starfish in the hot tubs.....at least I had 3 there so quicker..... These things have really slowed my progress in being able to build my hotel. Just as a matter of interest...... My oyster pearl and starfish hunts were combined under the same quest Just started building the hotel, so gonna be a while yet before I can get to Isl. 4 cause I haven't had the quest to search the cave for that elusive anchor...maybe I won't due to the starfish? Oh, so you used 12 gems little miss patient one Then again, I see you have completed the two big gem achievements, been on a good gem shopping spree huh...cant help yourself can you LOL I don't think I've had the sandbag quest yet....was that combined with your oyster pearl hunt? I'm patiently itching to have a looksie at the last Island....never practiced so much patience in my life between this and DV.....haha, don't think it's helped much in my ‘real life' activities.....oh I remember now...this has almost taken over my real life...so guess I now have all the patience in the world @ stogie53.....what device are you playing the TribeZ on? The sandpits are part of the latest iPad update. If you ‘are' using an iPad, you can't build any sandpits until you have completed the required quests......from memory (not good) but think you had to find shovels from the mines and a wheelbarrow from the lumber mill??
New expansions on first Island This is to those who have the latest TribeZ update installed..... Has anyone done all the land expansions on the first Island yet? I've only done two as per quests....but I'm wondering if we get a quest to expand into the next one? I don't want to leap ahead to then find I should have waited
Hi guys. I'm new to the forums. Level 28, two islands. Just building my 3rd Shaman Temple so hopefully I can start accumulating cash. Expanding takes forever at the current pace.
Hi there GP, I'm not entirely sure how many expansions I've done on the first island, I think it may only be two, possibly three? I can see four more expansions to do in the future but not rushing into anything yet!! That circus took FOREVER to build!!!!! Yes, I confess I did treat myself to some gems when they had the really good offer on, three times the gems for your money, too good a deal to pass up!! You know me, Miss Impatient, it's so good to speed up some of those 12 and 24 hour builds and deals!! I may end up using some gems for expansions on the fourth island because my money vanished pretty damn quickly with the new update!!! I had about 4 or 5 million saved up and can't believe how quickly I spent it all! I only have 250 thousand left! Just as well it's not real money eh?? All the expansions are so expensive! The developers obviously want us to take our time! Very hard for me as you know Going back to your other post, it definately wasn't star fish in the sand bag quest. I had to find sandbags in the sandpit, parcels in the lumber mill and an anchor in the cave. Never did get the anchor so used some gems there. That was the last quest I had to do, it was then just a matter of stockpiling some materials and then I was allowed to go to the fourth island!! Good luck with your quests and hope you get to the next island ASAP x
@ Jaz.....thanks for the info Hotel finished last night and I NOW have the anchor, sandbags and parcels to find.....next problem....my lumber mill storage is already maxed, so guess I will have to ship some elsewhere to clear space....so much for thinking I was clever. I can't get that last conjures hat on Isl.1 to save myself, so guess that's the circus part.....2 hrs, 400 food and no hat....expensive exploration to keep coming up empty handed huh....at least it wont interfer with me getting to Isl. 4 eventually.....yeah the money drops fast with the expansions alrighty x

Ok, confused now! I didn't have to get a conjures hat?? Unless my memory is REALLY bad, which I suppose it could be...... Maybe I'm cracking up..... No, I'm sure I'd remember something like that! I need sleep now, night night Trust you with the lumber mill!! So funny! Fourth island is really annoying me keep getting all these quests to build stuff but there is NO ROOM!!!! Even my little men are sitting on each others laps when they aren't working! So funny seeing 5 of them sitting on one square!
Whoa Jaz...maybe it's time to visit the Doc? Well it seems like a little rant works on this thread too LOL I finally got my 4th conjures hat today!!!! Yay, that took so many goes to get that last one, so now I know what this circus is all about....haha, was looking for it everywhere in my main build section, but alas it's that pile of stones on the foreshore.... Plus I got the anchor after only my 4th cave explore on Isl.3 Woot! Haha, yep I have some lumber on its way over to Isl.1....only trouble is I don't need it there either cause my cleverness has carried over on Isl.1&2, so it will have to sit in my inventory till whenever....probably have to ship it back to Isl.3 eventually DOH. So, all I need now is two more sandbags and one parcel...cmon...I want to join you on new Island too....looks like we are in for a real treat over there huh Where's everyone else gone on here??? Gone AWOL like a few DV regulars. Looks like its turning into a Jazbo, GP show.... Good morning everyone, Haven't posted for a while. Working my way thru the second island and taking my time. No update yet but right now I still have things to do so I am ok with it. Been reading the thread everyday to see what is in store for us iphone users. I have everything done on the first island and just using it to make money. I have my warehouses full ( I remember that someone said to before leaving). I went in yesterday and one of my people wanted a dragon ride and I could not find my lair's. They had been covered up with new trees so I guess I will have to spend some time doing some yard work there. Going slow on island 2. it is making me a little nervous. On island 1 the quest basically walked you thru every step but on 2 sometimes you just have to build something without a quest because you need the materials. I have read that if you do somethings without a quest and then get a quest it does not count Should have all my current quest done this evening and looking forward to see what happens next. I am finishing my idol, building a Theater and stocking up on supplies to explore the tunnels. Is island 3 available before the update? I am starting to get confused on what is pre-update and post update since I am behind most if not all of you.
Hi Everyone, my first post here. Is anyone else really annoyed that you go to the build menu and see that the building you want isn't available until you achieve a certain happiness level. You then spend coins adding decorations you don't really have room for just to increase to that level. Only to find when you go back to the build menu it's now changed and is another level up. Really annoying and doesn't seem right
YES YES YES!!!!! Annoyed me to the point of a near screaming fit yesterday!! I was trying to do the last quest to build the last 2 Households on island 1 and was told I needed happiness level 45 (I was on 44) so I bought some pretty coral trees, then was told I needed to be level 46 then 47 and finally let me build them at level 48! Damn annoying! Because of this over the last few weeks I've ended up with 3 museums, 2 schools and countless pillars, trees........ Looking very crowded!
To start with I thought I was being silly and hadn't paid attention. However I am really enjoying this game. I was desperately searching for one to replace another similar game that I had become bored and disillusioned with. Even happier now that I have stumbled across this forum
Hi Oscar and welcome You have raised a brilliant point, it's also really bugged me too I'm in the same boat as Jazbo with the last two households required on first Island.....have also ended up with 3 schools instead of one and will have to look at a third museum also as I still have one more household to build Have no idea why they just don't say the correct happiness level required to start with..... Solution would have been a quest for something new to build with a high happiness level?
hi dean...welcome back Yes, Island 3 is available for you......it's Island 4 that needs the update. Looks like the devs are taking their time with your update, maybe because it's not been out long to start with? Great to hear from you again ..... Still hinting for others to join / rejoin in. Would love to hear how youre all progressing
If you build a school, museum, etc... Just to raise your happiness level, can't you later demolish it if you need room? Or will it take away happiness?
With Island 3 available to us you are probably right about the update. Still working on 2 and have not even gone or been invited to go to Island 3. Have ALOT still to do without update and from reading the post here, need to make alot of money too.
