I've been playing this game over and over again. I love it a lot!!! As I rarely get proper internet connection in my building, I don't really care about multiplayer. But I DO hope that they change their mind about other maps and somehow can work it for this version and then add it (its even allright if it's IAP)!!!
I know, right? Days of Wonder go out of their way to explain their thought processes, price it at less than a buck, and still people complain. What those who haven't played the iPad version may not realize is that this isn't a case of simply resizing the app to fit the smaller screen. They completely changed the UI and made several subtle changes to make the game shine on the small screen as well. This app is beyond reproach, IMO.
I want more maps. And oh yeah, one more request : I WANT TO BE ABLE TO SWITCH THE COLOR OF MY TRAINS - I don't like green.
On the main Menu tap More Then go to the Settings (wrench icon at the top) On the left is the "avatar-o-matic" Swipe left or right to switch your avatar (the light bulb on top lights to show you what color your trains will be)
Thanks. But where's the wrench? ...edit... Finds it. They should separate it from More Games section. Sigh... gee.. I feel so stupid! Hmmm.... on another note WHY does the red character has to be a female? Can't we change an avatar to suit our own color just like the AI?
Either to reflect how minor the achievement is, or more hopeful, it was done to leave room for further achievements down the road as all achievements combined can't go over a certain total.
I'm going to buy it anyway but I must say I'd gladly pay $5-$10 for the game if it did include asynchronous multiplayer online.
bought.. i'm loving this game.. seroiusly thinking about buy the HD version to play online.. GREAT GAME! i prefer this to carcassonne.. i hope they add the online play also in the pocket edition..

All the achievements are 1 point. They can't even bother putting 10 points or something? Its not to leave room for further achievements if it's all 1 point and there's only 20. They can have up to 1k points.
20,000 games? Really? This 'achievement' is a bit unreasonable!! They could at least be more creative like claiming all of the black routes in a win. Otherwise, fantastic adaptation!
it looks and plays good, but ai is quite dumb and straightforward to enjoy the play, so this version even for 1 dollar without normal mp is kind of boring.
never played the ipad version. but it's like no much of challenge, ai does not really mess with your ways, plays really simple and picks too much tickets sometimes. so basically to win is not a problem, only if draws are really messed up.
Even when you only play against the game's supposed toughest AI and make all AI players that far right character?
aha, i thought they are all the same, so no i have played only when one or two were that guy with a cigar. but it makes some sense, was close with scores and he did not take too many tickets. but still it is like that even strongest ai plays his game and you yours, not so tricky like with carcassonne ai players. however maybe it's just such game.
Assuming this is the same AI as the iPad, they added that last AI character in a recent update and claimed he was much tougher.
