I had it with Roman Apts. Remember that because of flags. But now i try and it turns back same color everytime. So couldnt replicate again. In case it may help, i recolored every floor before so it may be when you do it first time after migration (just a wild guess tho). That floor was colored different when i tried to change colors, also remember that because i only realized flags had marks on them, background was same color with them.

It'll still take 10,000 floors to get one for every floor if there are 200 floors.

Also means if you built them with bux you'd need 40 million bux just to get the tickets for the floors to then what? Restart oh how fun restart for the thousandth time to do it all again?

I hate the idea of restarting it's why I don't play most clickers it's a stupid way to add gameplay time to a game it's cheap and goes against everything I enjoy in games. I like to progress and do well not do it all and then start again to do the same again it's a pointless waste of time

I see why Gold Tickets were created and it makes sense to give people who have completed the game a reason to to start over; but the 50 floors for 1 ticket is a brutal ratio.

I complete the game with all floors and 100% dream jobs with 80% at level 9. I am not a fan of the golden tickets. I worked too long and too hard on creating my tower for so little incentive. I would pay real money to buy golden tickets, but I would not start my tower over for them.

Also with Tiny Tower Vegas there was a way to generate Bux --- the casino games In this update Bux are scarce with no way to earn all that much. There has got to be a way generate more income without spending real money.

On the plus side, one feature I am surprised I am spending so much time on is renaming my Bitizens. The thing I felt was missing from
TTV was the ability to rename floors. I made good use of that with the original TT and rebranded the floors with puns, jokes and sexually suggestive names. Now I can do that with Bitizens! Oh boy!

Testing this bug more, it happens every time you share but also it effects any post you share. So if share a post in the middle then it will share a post a couple above it.

The other bug which seems to be fixed is where posts that was shared where often being cut short so yo only see part of the post on Twitter.

Rebuilt my 170-odd floor tower, and... My goodness, was it really so painfully slow originally? In particular, the change from a 9fps to the default elevator has been brutal (even upgraded a little to 1.5fps right now). Having said that, such a high-speed elevator in a new tower would be overkill. Maybe offer persistent elevator upgrades? (Either for tickets, or purely as a result of rebuilding)

The rewards for my old tower were kind of uneven. Delivering 3 people to random floors: 10 bux. Getting a mission to deliver 10 people to random floors (something about Earth Day?): 10 bux. Other, shorter missions: 50 bux. (Incidentally, trying to find items in a big tower? Even 50 bux was a poor return for the time it sometimes took. It would have been nice to have some kind of within-these-X-number-of-floors indicator or visual queue, especially when a large number of the floors were unlit and restocking)

So far all the mission in my new stump (this thing is a long way from being a tower again) have been rewarding 10 bux; not sure if there are 50 bux missions at this level of play - I just feel the need more elevator upgrades kind of desperately.

Moments later: Gold-upgraded a floor that was in the process of being restocked, and now the 15 minute restock has changed to 10 hours. Does instant-restocking kick in once active processes are complete?

Yeah, that is a bug, applying a gold ticket should complete any stocking taking place. As for the elevator upgrades I'm pretty sure we will have them survive Rebuilding.

Doesn't seem like many people actually want to rebuild though? Like I said and others did building a tower takes a lot of time and patience and is an achievement but then to only start again makes it pointless.

Also could there be an elevator upgrade that automatically stops at the floor it needs to go to? Mines on like 12fps and its sooo hard to stop it in the right place

Hmm, I thought we made the upgrades cap at 10 fps. Perhaps I forgot to put that in...

As for rebuilding. A player can still focus on perfecting their full height tower. Nothing has changed in that respect.

Prestige systems work in games because upon each prestige there is a very noticeable increase in power/leveling speed upon each prestige. I don't feel like this is present in the current Tiny Tower system. Gold floors are awesome, but one gold floor per prestige is not enough to make the grind back to floor 50 worth it over and over again.

Another factor that helps prestige systems work which ties into the previous point is that once you've prestiged the first few times, you really begin to notice how much faster you go through the early game content, which really adds a sense of permanent progression. This is also not present in the game right now. Getting to 50 floors is not an easy or quick task, not made much quicker by only getting one additional gold floor per prestige. I'm sure once you've acquired dozens of gold tickets, it'll be noticeable, but the grind to get to that point is immense.

The last comparison to be made about prestige systems refers to the golden tickets themselves. In most prestige systems, you earn more and more gold tickets upon each prestige because upon each prestige you are able to advance further through the content to earn more. In Tiny Tower, you gain a ticket every 50 levels which means there is absolutely zero reason to advance past floor 50 each go-around. This just further illustrates how grindy the current system is.

Bottom line is that gold tickets need to flow a bit more freely for the current system to not be an immense grind. I feel you either need to reward more gold tickets per prestige, or offer more in-game through other means.

I don't what you saying cause how i understand the comment maybe by the developers everytime you reset you still keep your gold ticket from before so surely that means you will level up quicker each time. I have noticed and no one has yet commented if this is correct or not but money can be earned a lot quicker then when the game first started beta testing.

Yes, you will level up slightly quicker, but instant restock times are not nearly enough to really be noticeable, IMO.

Starting with a LVL 10 floor that restocks for free (also instantly) should make a difference though. Combined with large fully stocked bonuses and Big Spender VIP possibilities.

Nobody is saying we won't tweak some of the values regarding Rebuilds, we just don't want to be hasty as it takes a while to get a feel for these kinds of things.

Also in the next update you will hopefully see a steady stream of dream jobbers being sent to you if you have any number of active friends playing:

Tbh, i dont really remember how fast you can get money in TT since been a while i stopped playing. I remember tho i had around 120 million coins i collected if there was an update. And that money took a while to collect. So i guess you are right. Thing is, my next floor cost was about 4 million, now its 20-24 million ( i did some floors so not sure exactly). So if its not more than 5 times before it really doesnt matter if its more than before.

About golden tickets, idea itself is really neat but as its stated previously it needs much more than what it is to make me start over.I spent my tower months (years?), my floors completed with all 9 skill bitizens and had lots of upgrades.

Again idea is really good and it evolves something even better i hope. Idea of starting over is actually appealing but throwing away my previous work is not.

Finally, please, please dont make our playing bound to friends too much, its nice to have but relying on that can be frustrating.

Quick note: There is a known autorotation bug I missed fixing that will cause some wonkiness on the video ads. Will be fixed in the next build!
