Whoa... I think Chop Chop Kicker just became my new favorite endless runner (for now). I don't know if you'd call flying through the air with momentum from magic marker slopes that you're drawing "running", but whatever it is, this game is extremely awesome! It's like Tiny Wings and Max & the Magic Marker met the Chop Chop world. Incredible.

My favorites are Mr Runner and Monster Dash. (I haven't tried everyone on the list though)

Canabalt is ok but I don't get why some people seem to think it started a genre. Runner games has been around in flash-games (for example) for years before the iPhone. I released my first runner in 2001 called Spacerunner. Don't get me wrong, I like Canabalt, it's just not that original. (And yes, Spacerunner looks like crap, but it was one of my first games :) )

I think Run! was released before Canabalt. It was the first endless runner I remember coming out for iPhone.

I'm sure there was one before it, but it's the first one I was aware of..and I'm almost certain it pre-dated Canabalt.

Dino Rush, Robot Unicorn Attack and Solipskier are really fun.
Chop Chop Runner and Monster Dash are OK
I find Canabalt too repetitive (and too expensive!).
    Don't know the others.

It provides very awesome and entertaining gameplay with nice graphics and fantastic on-screen controls. You will have an awsome experience running for your life.:)

    Run!

I recommend a game called Run! if you're into kicking down blue sharks or blowing up giant meteors with bazooka missiles while you run.

Now if I can only remember who developed it...;)

Is Solipskier really that good? I played it via flash, and I thought it was nothing special.

Lol, it's all opinion and personal preference. I didn't find it fun at all either, but there's definitely quite a few people who do enjoy it greatly.

Anyways, I'd like to add Rat on a Scooter XL to my list since apparently, every single Donut Game is getting an update to become universal along with GameCenter incorporation. Never liked their games because they were missing GameCenter, so this is definitely awesome news. RSXL is actually quite fun.

I didn't like the flash version either, hated it really. But I picked it up on sale for iOS, and it's like a completely different game; it really warrants itself well to the touch controls. I have a blast with it now, and is one of my favorite pick up and play games.

Chop Chop Runner is really fantastic with innovative controls and plenty of running, jumping and ninja combat. ItÂ’s a fun title with classic easy-to-start, hard-to-master gameplay.
