Tower Defense: Just how many are there?

I own almost everyone and quite a few more. Another notable one is magical tower defense and vanguard storm.

Not really sure how many there are but I can say at least 100 as I have around 60+ TDs

 

You know that's a pretty valid point. There are categories for Dice Games, Casino Games, Music Games... why not TD? I would think there are just as many TD's as there are Music Games but can't really say for sure. I think it's a legit genre that could easily have its own category.

tower defense is the most extensive category on the app store since its gameplay fits really well with the control of the iphone, so i think there must be at least 50

Yup, I see lots of familiar icons sitting on my iphone from that list

...notables also include Comets & Craters, Defender Chronicles, and Critter Defense

I was also impressed by magical tower defense as well.

Holy cow! Poor Camzy just got pwnd! That is a truly impressive list. The authors even went through the trouble of listing titles I personally wouldn't have bothered with. (e.g. Mars Defense)

@Camzy - If it makes you feel any better, your list is still the Penultimate Guide to Tower Defense...
