Love this game! Super fun, especially trying to build the track in the least amount of tiles. There are definitely still some more minimal solutions left out there! Already found quite a few! Awesome work on the game... =)
I have a question about statistics. When it displays "Track Count: x + x," what do the two numbers refer to? I take it the number after 'Journey' refers to the number of squares the train(s) crossed before finishing. How is that calculated? Is it the distance that all the trains combined traveled, the train that traveled the furthest, etc.
while i ABSOLUTELY love trainyard, I really dont like to have 2 apps to get all the puzzles. I know you want to be on the top chart of the appstore , but would you consider merging them?
Journey Count is the total amount of time that is taken in "train steps", it's not relative to the number of trains you have. Yeah I've considered this, but logistically it's quite tricky with the current way I have things set up.
Really great game!! I'm totally hooked! This is my favourite solution for now, I think it´s really quick och just "looks" nice. http://www.trainyard.ca/3JFe Other Trainyard fans, please post your favourite solutions! Thanks Pedroapan
Truth be told, I'm more fascinated by the website the developer created then I am by the game itself. No offense intended, I just think it's a cool idea.
Yes, in the future I will definitely make it so you can create your own puzzles, but it won't be for a couple months.
Trainyard Help out If you guys need any help in a level on trainyard, i'm uploading some videos on my youtube. youtube.com/user/iviaiko.
So I ended up doing every other level except The Classic, then had to go back because you have to do them all to unlock the final city. Opened it up, went...oh, right...and finished it in two minutes >.< Just needed a fresh perspective!
Really enjoying this game--beat all the Express levels first, and now I'm onto the full game. I'm wondering if there's any listing of the top solutions on each puzzle that doesn't actually show the solutions, just the best track count. I'd like to know how my solutions compare so that I know if I have room for improvement--that way, I'll keep playing the game even after I've finished all of the puzzles.
