Oh let's see, about zero. Your self-praising attitude in all the Trenches threads so far managed to eat 100% of my interest.
Of course our end goal is to create an experience that fully utilizes the device, including online global multiplayer. We cannot promise that online global multiplayer will come before or with a local multiplayer update, but it is definitely on our agenda.
Oh, now now, it was all in good fun. Our goals on the AppStore our modest; we just want to create a fun game that brings us unimaginable wealth and unequivocal power. Nothing more.
Ignore him if it isn't a Fallout 3 RPG with source engine graphics, and apparently if the dev does so much as says "I like our game" it is too much tl:dr Aurora hardly ever praises game people don't take him seriously around these parts you shouldn't either
Does anyone besides me like the infiltrator/spy idea? just wondering. I also would like to see some sort of button that would let you clear everyone out of the trench at once.
Oh, it's alright. We don't take it personally and I'm sure Aurora doesn't mean any harm. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and they are free to express them publicly.
That first part sounds like a really fun idea. To the second: We are working on a method to send forth all your units at once rather than drag them squad by squad.
this or something where you could drag 2 fingers to highlight a certain area when you have a bunch of guys out of a trench
I still haven't had the chance to try this game out but I love the fact that the devs are so vocal with their update plans and in getting feedback from users.
They need to sell the game to get money, too. So creating hype is a good thing, but yes I agree the hype was too big for the first version... Will there be online Multiplayer with different modes, too? Maybe some expanded Zombie mode ("expanded" means the zombie player doesn't have to trigger the "Spawn Zombie" button as fast as possible, but has got some special units, too... a kind of "Tank Zombie" who can withstand the power of lots and lots of bullets, or a "Fast Zombie" who can run fast... and the classic "Kamikaze Zombie", acting like a gas bomb when dying [Gas damages humans and boosts zombies]... but kami zombies would need to have a very long refresh time, because otherwise you could permanently spawn kamikazes, which would make your army totally freakin fast and you could win too easily!)... King of the Middle Trench? The player who can hold the middle trench for 5 mintues (does not need to be 5 minutes at once... can be 2 minutes + 3 minutes or whatever ) wins. TO make this more interesting, normal artillery can be disabled... so you have only gas to crush the enemies
Ah yes, nice both the infiltrator/spy and the "Move all" thing... Move all is especially nice for zombie... when you manage to get enough units to hold for a long time, you might be ble to send all to the front step by step (they will stop after one step so they can shoot ) to send the zombie waves backwards
How are they supposed to generate hype and interest in their game by saying shoot like, "Oh, I don't know, I guess it's kind of cool but then again as I'm the developer I guess I'm kind of biased and I'm sure some folk won't like it much..."?
