I predict it will be a cartoon version of this popular series: http://armorgames.com/play/4071/warfare-1944
I really would like something like Warfare 1917, successful flash games like canabalt are always welcome to the iPhone. I reckon it will be something between 33rd Division and Flight Control. Inkvaders is a good guess as well
Don't worry eggzbacon, I saw their reply on Twitter to someone and it looks like they told him they would be releasing more info Monday(tomorrow ) but I may have read wrong. In short, if there isn't any goofed information tomoro then don't hold me responsible, but if there is then it is totally my doings a win win for me
Same here. I'm not really going to be on the edge of my seat just because one screenshot looked kind of interesting.
i am not going to get sucked into the hype, cause guessing what the game you think it will be, will only disappoint you when you discover what the game is...just talking about hype in general but i will say this...if it is a warfare 1917 or 44 clone, I will buy it if it is another finger line drawing game...*yawn* best of luck
Hint #3 released: There are Real Time Strategy elements, but it is not a RTS. We have also updated the first post with our newspaper along with a continuing list of the hints.
It will be a game where you are both in trenches and you have to send units by drawing lines over to the other side...
So, will be like the game I posted (see my first quote^^) and you can draw lines at the beginning, to show your team KI guy's where they have to go. I'm right, I know it ^^
My guess would be somewhere between 33rd Division and Boom Brigade. Line drawing to direct troops in and out of trenches, maybe even with a little stealth, but lots of killing in a cartoony WWI manner.
We can at least tell you that there will be lots of killing in a cartoony WWI manner... or of course, you can take the pacifist approach....and lose horribly. (But we won't tell you how to play. )
No worries about finding out what the game is really about. TouchArcade will be the first to know. We are pretty confident you will enjoy the surprise. I mean, come on, there is no fun in Christmas without all the surprise of seeing what is inside that brightly wrapped paper.
