Wha?! Cool. Where are you located? Do you like it? There is a new version of the game I have in the Apple queue to review. Ad frequency is greatly reduced, sun levels are easier, and I've changed the cost and number of shields. You should get an alert when that one drops (hopefully). This is my first game so everything is new!!
I am from Taiwan, so maybe it is the reason why the game launched early. After some gameplays, I think the biggest problem about the game is the ship is moving slowly than my finger, so I can’t precisely move the ship to avoid dangers. (for example, my finger move 1 cm on screen , the ship just move only 0.8 cm) That makes a lot of deaths unexpectable. Also, I think the shield button design is not quick enough to save the ship, maybe makes the function active by double tap in the moving square? Except the moving problem, the game is really exciting and challenging, really nice!
Cool deal. I thought it might be something like that. I actually had the shield button as a double tap. I had most testers kept using shield unintentionally as they were moving ship back and forth so separated it from the movement area. As for movement, I didn't want to make it overly responsive. It should be close to 1:1 movement. I compensated a little by making the collision area of most objects inset just a little to make it somewhat forgiving. I'm glad you like it so far! I really appreciate the feedback and the download.
Wait? the ship can move back and forth? or you mean testers move their finger in the screen back and forth? if you mean the screen one, the reason perhaps is because you set the game control not just 1:1, so testers should tap one more time to move the ship a little bit to avoid dangers in short time, because the first time they try to move the ship to the idea place they think, but the ship is not on that place. Also, I am wondering how different every ships are, is the crew number affected the game?
