Don't forget to. It is one of the best (if not the best) space shooters available at AppStore. And it offers overhelming number of 500 missions varying levels of difficulty. All games I mentioned here are AAA for me. Trust me, I don't like to keep casual, average applications in my iPod.
the point of this thread is to list games that would recieve 5 stars on other platforms as well. DS / PSP. Great games NOT relative to the app stores low standards.
I sure wish the dev wouldnt have abandoned Puzzle Quest.. One of my favorite AAA titles is left unfinished.....
Hm, thanks for clarification. So, in this way, I can say that Ravensword, N.O.V.A., Galaxy on Fire and Rally Master PRO may be compared with other consoles titles. It is worth to mention, that last two were already ported to brazillian console Zeebo and RMP to Symbian.
sorry - ravansword would recieve a horrible rating if it was released on DS or psp. I'm curious if NOVA would recieve a high rating or not if it was released on PSP. Thoughts??
Defender Chronicles is by far one of the best games on the app store. So much depth and its currently being ported... . Best TD/RPG on the app store ever. Makes field runners look like garbage. Minigore and Hook Champ are nice as well, but I don't know how they would be liked for the DS/PSP unless they had co-op.
what games (if any) do you all feel would recieve an 8-9 star rating if they were released on the DS / PSP? I know that some games could not port over because of the idevices controls, but im talking more about game quality.
Damn, in terms of production levels I think the only AAA game on the appstore is Chinatown Wars. In terms of quality? Definitely Spider. That's about it.

A triple A game is either: a game that has outstanding production values a game that could easily be considered excellent in any platform TTR3 is neither.
