Aha i just watched the first 4 episodes but had to go eat dinner lol its a good show and i am enjoying it, even though my favorite type of shows are comedies. But ya it is no twilight although there are some plot similarities. Oh and also, the main character sookie or however you spell it, could be more attractive (her face), but shes got a nice body. Lol anyway thanks guys for letting me know about the show. And yes, to whoever says that there is sex almost every episode, you are right. Haha thanks
ALright it just got awErsome around the part where the *spoiler* Grandma dies. Now the plot is kickin in and i wont be able to stop watching until im finished with season 1! Its 104 am and im tired! Lol
Alright just finished all 9 episodes of season 2. I am all caught up, and cant wait for episode 10 tomorrow...I have to say, I absolutely love the show and it is really great. It took 4 episodes to get me hooked but I am glad it did. Thanks guys for recommending it, because I am loving it.
OMG!!! True Blood was intense last night! Jason was pretty friggin funny! The scene by the fridge. Jason: SAM!!! SAAAAMMMM!!!! <Andy peeks out> Jason: Oh oh Andy! Hi Andy! Andy: Lemme see your eyes Jason: Oh my eyes? <opens em wide> I was ROTFL so hard. And the god scene of course. Andy + Jason forever!
It is our fav. show at the moment. We loved Battlestar Galactica but it ended back in March. We are very glad we found this show by a total accident. It was the first episode (we thought it was a movie), we started watching it and thought it was another cheesy vampire movie. When the episode ended we were hooked. We recorded last night's episode but couldn't watch it. So now off to grabbing our dinner plates and enjoying the show!

I didn't watch this at first cos i watch or rather have to download cos all the good stuff out way earlier in the usa than here in the uk and i wanna see it now like and always have far too much in the way of tv stuff and movies to watch and of course my iphone games to play and the rest of life to contend with as well But glad i got the first season a few months back and pretty much watched it in a couple of days and then i've been getting the 2nd season online and watching it and the show just rocks...Now i've just gotta wait for the return of all my favourite shows to return in the usa so i can carry on watching them again as i'm only watching True Blood,Dark Blue,Defying Gravity and Leverage at the mo Come on all C.S.I 's,The Unit,Without A Trace etc etc etc etc
WOW. Not the best show ever(thats reserved for LOST ) but seriously.. WOW. Thank you superbad for this thread or I`d have never watched it had I not seen this thread. It has quite a few flaws but still it`s definitely better than most other crap you`d find on TV nowadays Watched all of the first season and onto 8th episode of the second season. Damn I`ll have to wait for 9 months once I finish off this season.
I've read all the books because of watching the 1st season of True Blood. Of course there are differences (big one is Tara doesn't exist) but I'm really enjoying Showtime's interpretation. I feel the books will be too "girly" for boys.
I just started watching this I'm half way through season one and It is really good so far. The only reason I started watching it was because I was all caught up on Dexter and needed something to pass the time until the new season started.
Best show ever! even if there was 1 or 2 bum episodes in season 2, but over all season 2 was even better than the first!
I fully agree. There were a couple dull episodes thrown in but overall it was a great season! @ Superbad- how'd you know about the spoiler? From the book? I wish I hadn't peaked... it's going to be a long 9 months
Nahh. I read online. I read the books. They don't come until the third book. But the show has been non linear with the books so I was kinda surprised.
