So since kiljijijib or whatever it's name somehow got the other one locked, lets try to not act out as much in this one, ok? Anyway, I'll start off with a very interesting video from the 70's where an italian composer wrote a song that "sounds" like english, but is not. Very interesting as an english speaker to hear what we sound like to non english speakers. http://boingboing.net/2009/12/17/gibberish-rock-song.html have a great day, and keep this thread clean and active with your random comptemplations and internet finds!
This thread going to be funny to watch. Anyway go pie. Edit: Dogmeat if you make a topic for the off topic thread you have to go off topic to that topic.
If you're trying to joke, fail~! I actually think this stuff looks real tasty, fresh food for the win! Or if you prefer, hit your local burger king and get some greasy cardboard imitation food.
Wow, I just don't ever want to eat anything that's still moving while I'm eating it. I also don't want to be scaled and deep fried while I'm still alive, either.
The snake movement was bad, but the fish moving was so much worse. Was it still alive or something? imagine being skined partially, cut, cooked in oil, and still be alive.
so what if it moves? it's food! and I bet it tastes fantastic, seriously, don't limit your food choices because something looks weird, taste it, try it, expand your horizons, don't limit yourself.
No it's not that...it's just the fish dude. It's still alive. Say you cut your arm to the bone. Then you skinned most of your body. Then you were dipped in hot oil and cooked for a while. But you didnt die. THINK OF THE PAIN.
it's a good thing I'm not a fish. Seriously I don't care what they go through, they're in that circumstance and that's it. When I'm in that circumstance, yes it would suck, but I'm not worried about it since there's nothing above us on the food chain that we know of yet. And honestly, unless your eating berries and nuts, you've definitely contributed to the killing of animals by eating animal based foods.
one day you will have the opportunity, and I really encourage you to take it, at least once in your life, at least to verify why you don't like it. Regardless of outcome you will have an awesome, personal experience to share and think about for the rest of your life. Basically, eat the squirming cut up snake and gain +5 to wisdom also, the best fish I have ever had, hands down, ever in my life was last year when I was in japan. We hit this little tiny place right next to the coast where they had a fisherman that would go out in the morning and catch the fish and bring it there, they cut it up right in front of you and you stick it on a skewer, put it over burning hay just to sear the sides and OMG it was the most delicious thing ever, fresh, just killed food is the BEST! I was watching man vs. wild the other day and bear gryls slit the throat of this elk or something and started drinking its hot blood straight out of the neck. Although harsh, he made it look so life giving and appetizing in his situation at the time.
Well it's different if you get to witness it right in front of you. You don't have to watch the cow get slaughtered in a crazy death machine before it ends up on a bun. If you did, however, you probably wouldn't be very hungry for the burger after. I even feel bad when they drop the little lobster into the boiling water and it squeals to death. Poor Pinchy
The lobster is alive, but braindead. I went to culinary school and we learned you take a knife to the back of it's head, and basically kill the brain, sure it's still moving, but it's completely gone. I've eaten plenty of things killed right in front of me, especially fish.
