Garden of Fear, a 3D first person horror game, will release tomorrow, April 11, from Smuttlewerk at an introductory price of $0.99. Upcoming thread: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?p=2768684 I got a chance to play Kingturn early and it's addictive and highly recommended; no one should let it slip by.
Sorry for off topic but what difficulty level are you playing Kingturn on ? I read in the thread that you turned the difficulty up - was it to max ? Now I've got to learn the basic mechanics of the game I may start again with the difficulty turned up because I won scenario 5 on my first attempt (unlike the previous four !) and also I feel like I'm wussing out if you've cranked the difficulty up ! I can't get over how much fun this game is. Anyone in the dark about this game should go check out Kingturn in the thread in upcoming games. It's beautiful and awesome fun. With its 67 scenarios and incredible AI this should keep SRPG fans happy for several months.
In upcoming game Kingturn I turned the difficulty up to "4- Master;" but have since discovered that you can alter the enemy respawn rates so just started toying with that. There's an amazing deal of customization possible if you want a stronger or easier SRPG game than the default recommendations and it's possible mid-game from the options menu so you wouldn't even have to "start again." 4 - Master setting isn't easy, but I'm having a blast. Well, looks like I'll be up for NZ releases. One more all-nighter.. shouldn't have a legit reason to stay up again until it's time for final exams in May after today.
So you guys don't wanna get overly hyped for DH4 with me?! Come on! What do you guys have against disappointment? Live a little!
Ha ha ! To be fair in a way i cant be that disappointed as i've set my expectations so low for DH4. When Dungeon Hunter 3 arrived i was so excited and then totally the opposite when i realised it was a crappy arena game. So i'm not expecting much from DH4, could be decent, looking forward to the single player game but i'm expecting a huge filesize and a game geared towards using lots of IAP's. We shall see !
Exactly my picks. Not as high on expectations, but of course im also interested in how DH4 turns out to be.
No way I was wondering why everyone was crapping on about Gemini Rue and checked it out. I didn't realize it was a game I saw ages ago and wished it came to ios. Greatest surprise release ever for me. So stoked. My number one most anticipated now and it's about to drop. Ska Dooooosh!!
So far I'll be buying Blue Toads, HEAVY Sword, Lumber Jacked, Gemini Rue and maybe Mighty Dungeons. Another great week
I keep looking through the flurry of new released today but no matter how hard I squint or look at the screen up close I can't find anything the caliber of Kingturn, which is coming tomorrow (April 12). Mighty Dungeons is worth it ($0.99) and revolutionary for App Store but a tad casual. Blue Toad Murder Files seems promising but unknown. Gemini Rue seems to have questionable resolution (I'll grab it anyway because the gameplay sounds fun). Reports are Heavy Sword has control issues (it plays like it's actually heavy, apparently). Dungeon Hunter 4 is... freemium... Maybe I'm just being cynical.
