Sigh, it's been a slow couple weeks for me & new releases - after wading through all of the new game threads that I could find, I'm only seeing a few that I actually want - the Zombie Fish Tank one. There are often surprises throughout the day, so hopefully something more my taste pops up. That said, it looks like there are a good number of solid games coming out tonight, just not my cuppa.
Agreed. I finally have time to play things in my backlog! I didn't realize how many new games I'd barely played, heh. I've seen a number of exciting (at least for me) games due late May/early June, so soon my backlog will be neglected again.
Yeah, went back to some old games, too. Except the new Wordmare, I am curreny ending The Bards Tale (already finished once) and enjoying Temple Run: Oz and Texas Hold'em Poker online.
Incredibly mediocre week, and I'm not just saying that to say that. I've already picked up Dead Ahead, Men's Room Mayhem, Combo Crew, Zombie Fish Tank and Hyper Breaker Turbo. I initially thought all of you were crazy for saying this was a bad week (and it isn't), but while all the games mentioned aren't bad in any way, shape or form...they're all just "okay". Nothing special.
Yeah nothing has the "Wow" factor for me that Frozen Synapse, Jacob Jones, ace patrol or Eclipse (just to name a few) had. Still an announcement of Kotor for iOS is enough to make my week
Well, there are two lights in the darkness - Go Round and Hyper Breaker Turbo - but it's still slow. This must be the silence before the storm.
I hope the storm is Star Comm... I mean Frozen Sy... well damn, there's nothing to look forward to any more.
Homeworld! That one was amazing! And the expansion was even better with the swarm devouring everything! And had bigger ships! Better story and all. One of the best RTS ever and from 1999. That could been my excuse to buy an iPad... :/
Think thats nothing compared to the crying of me and others when we thought the 'epic' news was Star Wars coming out and not that crappy Gameloft title !
Well at least it's still coming! And since it's been approved it should be out next week or the week after that! Also, Rodeo confirmed that Warhammer Quest is coming next week
Well yeah, obviously. I think they look quick, cheap and repetitive with overused and uninspired themes, but hey, that's just me. Next week is Warhammer Quest though, so that makes up for it.
