Upcoming Releases of 2013

If you use the TA app then color=white content comes up in italics and sticks out like a sore thumb.

 

I kinda guessed it was x-com due to E7's clue.."a big,big game"..I was assuming the file size..Only thing I thought of with that much heavy load and close to releasing or be sent to approval was DeusEx..MC5 seems unlikely due to the update plans for MC4 and current release of gangstar Vegas..Since we know its not DeusEx...WOW!!!

I'm very excited and have been preparing for that game since the release of KOTOR on iOS..


Btw echoseven,is this the modern hit you guys were talking about that's coming our way??The other big port apart from the old time classic???

 

That wasn't Echoseven but Jstin Davis from IGN and nope that's not it. He said it was unannounced so it can't be X-Com. It's supposed to be released in a few weeks so I guess that means we still have more surprises coming our way for this summer

 

AHA!!First of all thanks for the correction..The reason I brought it up is I really wanted the modern hit to be something else or I have a feeling it is something else..

Now the suspense of waiting for what that game is brings me goosebumps...With all the big guns that have been announced or have been released already,I wonder what else could surprise me..hehehe

 

I thought about it but he said "a port of a modern hit". And deus ex is not a port per se but a spin off. I'd be happy if this was the game he hinted at anyway

 

FTL or Mark of the Ninja is what I think Davis might be talking about. No proof. Just a gut feeling.

I concur. FTL would be so awesome and is so easy to port as well! Come on subset games...

 

Interestingly both of the devs of FTL, Mathew Davis and Justin Maa, met while working at 2K China.
2K China has previously brought Sid Meiers Pirates across to ios and has been assisting with the Xcom port

Dude that's just a companion app isn't it? Like a mini game to earn you in-game unlocks within the console version. Surely that's not considered a biggie

Ha. It might be fun. Tho it would be great to see some actual Sam Fischer on ios instead of his R2 unit

 

There was a mobile version of Conviction, but bad AI really brought it down. Doubtful it's NOVA 4 either, I think we'll have to wait another year or so if it's coming at all.

And Deus Ex has me concerned about device performance.

 

I'm more concerned about the performance of X-Com, the UE hasn't been the best engine on that front...

Well if it's a "port" it's either Call of Duty Black Ops 2 or something else entirely.

 

That seems like a good summary of the possibilities. Either it's that or it's something else.

 

I'm actually more excited about terraria than FTL..But if its mark of the ninja you're talking about,then that's my top wish..

Though if by means of impact to iOS gaming in general,two of those game are not that big of a deal when compared to either KOTOR ,X-com or the DeusEx game that's about to come...If I am to be amazed,I need more than that..
