Looks like im only skipping Cover Orange 2 this thursday... I wanted to skip Kingturn Plus as knighturn didnt really impress me, but imma give it another chance. Leaping Legend is also going to be free, not sure about Castlerama... But im gonna pick both those games on impulse. Even with just Spiral and XCom, the week already looks expensive.
Wow!!That crytek game from the front page looks pheonomenal...The collectibles could be Xcom's rival..Finally a serious game with the cry engine on iOS..Though I really liked fibble,I need some serious cry engine fix... Yeah I saw the video of that game on the WWDC app and it looks phenomenal. So curious that we haven't heard anything about that game at all... It seems to be running on Crytek's Cryengine 3 and is made by Crytek Bucharest. I love the mix of touchscreen and joystick control.
I may need to save some bucks on an upcoming controller purchase...hehe ..With cry engine 3 on the mix plus UE4 and EA's Frosbite on the horizon,Im quite prepared to get my mind blown.. I thought getting Kingturn Plus this week would be amazing as it is but Xcom too is good news; although I am skeptic about the reduced number of maps and huge file size.
I'll pass on Spiral... I just don't like piecemeal experiences especially when they come from a relatively unknown developer that I can't base a history to trust on. The last episodic game I bought was from Telltale (The Walking Dead, I bought the season pass) and I only did so because I knew them as a developer and I knew they wouldn't leave me high and dry waiting between episodes or worse, never finish them. Lord and lady knows how many games I have bought with the words "episode one" on them with no follow through of further episodes. Besides, looking at the video, it looks like a very stylish and nice looking but otherwise uninteresting game when it comes to what they have shown of gameplay... I know, opinions and all. My money is on Xcom and perhaps Castlerama and trying to see which apps to sacrifice to the digi-gods! Everything else seems a pass for me, even Kingturn sadly...

I should know by now that a slow week tends to be followed by an "OMG WANT" week - tomorrow is going to be full of reading impressions and adding to my mental wishlist.. and putting a dent in my iTunes balance after 11PM. (As a silly aside: I lost track of time and was confused when I was scrolling through "New Posts" and didn't see any [NZ] threads. It took me a little while to realize that no, tomorrow is Wednesday and I've got a bit of a wait left.)
