Anodyne, Home and Icebaker will also be released today. All three were confirmed on their respective homepage so no doubt about it. I'm sure we'll see them tomorrow launching in every store at the same time. Edit: Ah! Just saw on Anodyne's twitter that the release was delayed 8 hours ago to fix a bug in the iphone version. The game is now due to release on june 27th.
Even more funny: the fact that you will never be able to finish all the games you'll buy this week until next Thursday. At least not when living a normal life, with school/work and family stuff.
Yup! Even without any games this week my backlog is still huge on iOS (and PC...). At least I've finished the Last of Us!
Well so far it looks like i'm just going for Gloomy Hollow. X-Com i want to get but its the filesize which causes me issues, might just put that on my ipad as i have more room, prefer gaming on my ipod touch you see. Really really hope Apple announce in September a 128 gig ipod touch !! Please!!
Well, this may be the week where I can say the 3GS died. Up until this week, I'd say a good 90% of new releases still worked on it (including heavy hitters like Warhammer Quest). But it hit the fan this week, almost everything I'd be interested in is a no-go on it. I knew it had to happen sooner or later and am thankful that it's handled as much as it has. Haven't checked out everything new, but all the big ones (Spiral, Xcom, Gloomy Hollow, Return to Castlerama) are at least iPhone 4 and up. Did pick up Leaping Legends. That said, I've got plenty of backlog and some big Android releases from this week that will keep me going. Sadly, it looks like I won't be eligible for an upgrade until November (and will have quite a list of games to get by then!).
Heroes & castles - block fortress - KR frontiers - man of steel - castle mine, I know there are a few more that I just can't remember. I have downloaded a bunch of free games but I've only bought a small amount. I remember when the App Store was new when I bought everything, I've learned to control myself I bit.
From the threads I see so far, tonights iOS releases to get: XCOM, Gloomy Hollow, Cover Orange 2, and Spiral.. Where's My Mickey should be out later as well. Edit: Add Icebreaker. Not sure how many of these I'll actually pass on. There are still a number of good games from the past few weeks that I need to get..KOTOR, 9th Dawn, Warhammer, etc.
Icebreaker's being published by Rovio, right? If so, I think it's safe to assume it'll be released worldwide later on like all other Rovio releases. Where's Home though? :/
Yeah I'm quite sure that's still how Rovio works. Maybe Benjamin Rivers also wants to push the button himself? I don't see him saying that it's been pushed back so i'm quite confident we'll see it tomorrow.
Not that anyone cares but I did some checking and guess AT&T changed their upgrade policy and I was going to now have to wait until March 2014!! So I asked about using my son's upgrade and was worried that I couldn't use it because he has a non-smart phone and they'd force me to get another data plan to do it. But I was able to use it and he was able to keep his old phone with no data plan. So I'm the proud new owner of an iPhone 4S (still couldn't afford an iPhone 5 at the $199 "upgrade" price so I'm still behind the times, but better than where I was). That said I'm still probably going to sit this week out on all the big releases since it still cost me $50. I have a few games waiting in the wings that I got on sale waiting for the the upgrade (like Arc Squadron and Wraithborne).
Thanks! The sad part is I'm sure there are at least a few others that wouldn't run on my 3GS that I picked up for future use, but I can't remember them. And with Apple's crappy purchase history, they'll be hard to find. That's what I get for not writing them down and having my old age memory.

Big advice: unlock your 3GS and sell it over Ebay. You might still get around 100$ or more for it. My aunt sold her 3GS, which was still in good shape, 6 weeks ago for roughly $140.
