AotS does look pretty awesome now that I've spent some more time reading up on it and watching videos. Gave BBB a download since it's free. Nice week.
Blastronaut - releasing July 2013 please could you add it to the list. http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=194392
Yep cant wait for that one. That'll be a '12 o clocker' for me (e.g i'll stay up till midnight to download it). Love platformers and this seems an epic puzzle platformer. Hopefully not a massive filesize but i've made some space ready either way
I was contemplating hard about hitting the buy button for limbo on steam..Somehow there was a voice in my head saying "it will make its way to iOS"..Then poof out of nowhere here it is.. Now can we please have cave story+!Hehe
Games of that ilk of design and patient atmospheric build up are just too good to ignore. Looks lush. I've not played the existing versions either, so I'm salivating at the prospect of this on a retina ipad.
I have LIMBO on PC and 360...why would I want to buy it agai--oh, I'm just kidding! You cannot believe how stoked I am it's finally coming to iOS!
Haven't been keeping up with iOS gaming these past few weeks and I just found out today that Limbo is frickin coming to iOS. Hol-E-Crap. That's going to be a HUGE boost for the app store.
I guess I am the dissenter here... I'll be skipping Limbo. Beat it twice on the 360 and while a great game I see no point in revisiting it again on my iPad. While an interesting game, for me it just doesn't hold up after repeated plays or warrants that "I can play this a dozen times" feel that games like KotOR, Baldur's Gate, the upcoming Shadowrun Returns remake or even the remade Xcom Enemy Unknown holds for me. Limbo is a definite recommend for those who missed it in my book, but I can't hold it as some modern classic... It is merely a really good game but not one that screams must own in every version to me...
Same story for me. It's a bit like Flower and Journey. Worth the once-over, doesn't stand up to being played over and over. It'll be interesting to hear which version comes closest to being the definitive one though.
I wonder if they'll include the 3D mode in the iOS version. Only today did I discover that it even existed on the PC version!
