99.999% sure anything related to the video camera is private frameworks which means you dont get access to use it on your own.
I'm not saying I know otherwise. It's just that the camera is not off limits so why would the video camera be off limits?
No I'm positive you can mess around with it. I was watching the wwdc video yesterday and he said that there was an api for it.
you probably can use apples ui to activate the camera/video like how you can now.. and even possibly use their editing ui to make edits.. but thats it.. youll never have direct access to do anything custom. just like now you cant even access the file system to get pics, apples viewcontroller gives you a cgimage of what the user selects look in the sdk. all the video stuff is in private frameworks.
