For some reason when I launch some games, the regular sound volume won't display when I click the volume buttons, instead the ringtone volume pop-up will take its place, making it impossible to control the sound volume in the game unless the iPhone is muted altogether. Is there any way to manually switch between ringtone and sound volumes, or other way of fixing this problem?
I've had this happen before but hasn't really bothered me much because I usually have my phone on mute/ sound off. Have you tried flipping it to mute and then flipping back? Or maybe waiting a bit after the game loads before hitting the volume? Maybe it needs time to register that its playing a game? Just throwing stuff out there...
I tried both before and they didn't work. Also the ringtone volume stays stuck for the entire time the app is running.
