I would think so, additionally in my limited experience (lvl 19) ppl prefer to order from the higher end shops that yield more money and exp despite the additional time, so while tailors may seem to be the most efficient it's contingent upon friends actually purchasing them; and as long as the bug that causes issues w/ availability of your shops after u reach the so called order cap exists ppl r more selective of the shops they order from. To reiterate, the aforementioned comments are based entirely on my obeservations.
We rule strategy I made myself a google spreadsheet just like the one above. But what I discover is that planting pumpkins and strawberries are the best crops. Not just in terms of gold coins profited but in experience points. Especially if you are trying to level up faster. I was doing corn constantly for a whole day. And it though it was profitable in the lower levels, by level 14 I felt tired!!! As each level increases there is a greater demand for experience points to level up. Corn just doesn't cut it! Plus when you factor in the delay of planting and harvesting seconds between each 45 second session, Its more like a profit of 300 coins per hour and sore finger tips. I have been planting carrots over night however. It seems more profitable to do potatoes now. As I have delayed harvesting them about two hours post it's six hour growing time and it's still fine. I harvest first thing when I wake up and it doesn't take up precious farm land time like carrots do. And I can then proceed with continuous corn planting while I'm online. All in all, I find planting strawberries and pumpkins. Most profitable when You have other stuff to attend to. pearl78
I agree. My most frequented shops are my bakery, butcher, and stables and windmill. In that order. But my tailor and school and lumber mill have been unoccupied for days.
I accidently bought 2 of the same building. I think my only option is to sell one right? If I sell, how much of the cost do I get back? It's a watch tower.
Couldn't agree more. Seriously...I'm not trying to judge or anything, but don't you guys see how pointless this game is if your only goal is to maximize profit? What are you maximizing profit for?? To just level up forever? I mean, you can maximize profits by building nothing but tailors...but then what? The only real goal you can focus on if this is what you're doing is to reach the top of the leader boards. If not, you're just wasting your time! I think the real point of this game is to create a cool kingdom. Sort of like Sim City. You generate income to increase your level. When you increase your level you open up new fun items for your city. That all being said...efficiency and profitability is still a concern...but there are other ways than creating a gigantic block of tailor shops and growing corn all day. You guys have answered some of the big questions already. Lets review. 1) The shorter the grow time, the more profitable the crop. 2) The tailor gives you the best output considering it's price (and it takes up the smallest amount of space). Has anyone figured out which crop gives you the greatest output per mojo point? It isn't simply the highest output crop. Some crops take 2 or 3 mojo to complete. Nobody wants to check though because you have to give up your mojo. Also, which item gives you the most EXP/cost? A chart showing how much EXP each item gets you would be awesome too.
Question - I have read through alot of these pages, and I'm just curious what the general idea is regarding what the best shops are to buy? I have bought some tailor shops, and a mine. Looking to buy some more. What's the general ideas?
Mojo and buildings Have any of you use mojo to purchase the Griffin's nest or Dragon layer? Is it worth it to do this? Should I save the mojo for higher levels to speed up the leveling process?
Add me!! Very active user Username: faizari I am on daily with push notifications and many mojo. I am constantly building businesses and will also tend to yours!!!!
Username: bokchoy Freaking love this game, I'm on it at least three or four times a day checking crops and businesses and what not. Feel free to add me and come visit my shops.
This thread is for strategy fellas. There are plenty of other threads around for shops and so on. I used coins for Griffin's Nest. It's the only big upgrade at level 19. I intend to use coins for the Dragon too. Besides expanding your kingdom (30,000 gold) at level 20, there isn't much else to spend on. I'm about 2/3 of the way to level 20, and already have 50k in gold. So unless you want to spend on some major redecorating, I would just keep the mojo and use coins.
My Plus+ ID is: EnderWiggins I believe that in the creation of We Rule, while not entirely original, is still an ingenious adaptation/renovation of various existing software. It has already demonstrated its capacity to appeal to a broader spectrum of individuals than most app/games, by allowing individuals to select how they play based on their personality. Thus, highly competitive, hard-core gamers are going to attempt to lvl very fast and make as much money as possible and climb the leader boards; where as a more artistically inclined person may choose a more aesthetic approach and could care less about the accumulation of wealth but rather how attractive their kingdom is and derive satisfaction in being able to share their masterpiece with other players who might appreciate their efforts. Additionally, there are persons who participate in We Rule solely for the social networking aspect or for the potential for a more active, upgraded version. I chose the aforementioned illustrations in order to exemplify just how diverse We Rule's existing (and conceivable) target audience actually is. There are of course other reasons and methods that will attract people; and as the game evolves and expands the broader it's appeal will become. My point is, we should refrain from making hasty judgements or inferences based on someone's chosen approach or method. For they could spend massive amounts of money reach lvl 99 in 2 days never play and enjoy it just as much as the person who is at lvl 5 after 5 months and still actively plays
My Plus+ ID is: EnderWiggins I would like to share some strategic thoughts (tips) based on my own observations and experience.... 1) If you are going to build a TON of tailors, don't cluster them up, spread them out all around your kingdom. For awhile I had over 20 tailors clustered together I was lucky if 4-7 were ever used at one time. Finally I decided to rearrange (redesign) my kingdom and spaced shops out and mixed them up, thus making it look cleaner as well as making it seem like there were fewer tailors...it worked now all of them r almost always receiving orders. 2) Diversify your building selection, if u want to make money it takes time unless u have all the time in the world to plant corn, wheat, or rice every few minutes. Another important reason I suggest diversification (awards aside) is b/c ppl like to order from the higher end buildings not the small frys (tailors, ponds, etc.) I imagine there r many reasons for this aside from more gold and exp; perhaps they don't log on that frequently so they don't mind waiting the 18-36hrs for those shops, or perhaps they have tons of friends and despite the bug they have few shops of their own and try to order tailors from low lvl friends and they want something new and rare from their higher lvl friends. Also they can't account for the frequency of the individual whom they order from, the recipient may take forever to accept the order (might decline it) and/or might not get back in time to deliver it. Either way I've noticed that the first shops most ppl go to r the high end ones. 3) Establish yourself among your friends as reliable; i've demonstrated reliability and i have ppl that order from my tailors twice in day. If they know they can count on you they will keep coming back. 4) Reciprocate when you can, I know the bug is a pain, and so i don't think ppl take it personally when u don't order from them (b/c they know u can't) but if u can it's good advertisement for yourself and it shows that u r in fact a friend b/c friends buy from friends 5) If you r just starting out, and this suggestion worked for me but i'm not sure how the bug works exactly, so u may or may not want to do this, don't worry about building lots of shops, try and accumulate as many friends as u can and purchase as many orders as possible when i started out, i did this, the only ppl i couldn't buy from bugged themselves i think by doing exactly this, but once all your orders come back filled or failed the bug goes away (at least it does for me) so if u have a 100 friends and u can successfully place orders from 25-50, even if they r just tailors (8hrs), well u do the math. 6) last but not least don't neglect your farms Well thats all i can think of off the top of my head atm if something else comes to mind i'll let you know. Please feel free to comment, critique, and/or offer suggestions, I look forward to reading your thoughts. EnderWiggins
I really wish they made it easier to move things around, or had a reset if you picked up the wrong item. Items tend to jump around after you pick them up too. Sucks.
You are incorrectly inferring my play style and motivations based on the fact that I took a half hour to make some spreadsheets and graphs. Some of us just like to determine the mechanics of a game and write them down. You haven't seen my kingdom (username ImBasilFawlty) but if you had, you would know that I have only 2 tailor shops and one of most everything else. I only have about 10 people that I actively patronize, one of whom is my wife. I'm not racing to level up or anything -- I just think the underlying economics are interesting. I think it's especially interesting to see how people choose what businesses to build/patronize, and how well that lines up with "optimal play". In my case, it doesn't line up very well at all. Thank you, though, for caring about how I spend my iPhone gaming time.
