I'm pretty sure back to this had finals this week as well.

As far as myself, I've been somewhat busy but mostly trolling the Six Guns thread. The only game I still need to play is MMR and I'll be good to go.

I definitely need to write everything by tonight! Hopefully I don't procrastinate too much.

    Update

Sorry guys, I won't be leaving my impressions until tomorrow afternoon. I'm leaving my house in about an hour, or so, and I won't be taking my computer with me. And I hate doing impressions on my iPod or phone!

Pretty much Stretched is an excellent puzzler. It's extremely unique and is the breath of fresh air we need in the physics category. Each level brings something new and never feels repetitive. My GOTW

Let me out is another great puzzle game by Chillingo, but if I could only choose one, I'd go with Stretched.

I only got to play Mini Motor Racing a little bit and it's good, but I felt that it didn't live up to my "Death Rally" expectations. Again, I only spent a very minimal amount of time on it, so wait for LOLavi and bactothis' impressions!

Monster Shooter = not worth the time IMO. I advise going to the thread since I won't be elaborating any further until tomorrow. http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=115703 Read through it because opinions tend to change as people play the game more! I will say that it has somewhat gone from positive to negative.

Yeah, definitely been incredibly busy. One more final to go on Monday, then break starts, heheh. Should be able to get to these soon.

    ----------

    12/07/11

    Batman Arkham City Lockdown

Definitely was a surprise when the game came out. Couldn't have been more excited, especially after seeing that it was being published by Time Warner, who's definitely had a good run with its recent releases: LHP 5-7 and Scribblenauts Remix. And, yeah, it's Batman.

The Unreal Engine gets the job done well here. Although the environment is gloomy/dark as expected, you definitely notice the impressive visuals. The character models are excellent, and there's quite a bit of detail to everything. Although the main enemies (thugs) all like extremely similar, the bosses were reproduced very well visually. The music is great, and the sound effects get the job done, from the threats the thugs shout at you while they get beaten up to the resonance given off by Batman's lightning strikes.

There's four save slots, which is always a very good sign. After you create your account, you choose to either start the game or check out the store. There's quite a few things to purchase, passive upgrades for Batman: defense, strength, speed, and upgrades for Batman's abilities: heal, bat swarm, stun, and lightning strike. Each can be upgraded 6 times. There's also a store to buy three different Batman skins. Sadly, these can only be purchased through iAP at $0.99 each. Of course, there's iAP bundles as well to purchase credit, which is used to upgrade Batman.

There's 16 levels total, which can be beaten played fairly quickly. I doubt it'll take you over two hours to get through them the first time. After completing each of the levels, the game starts over on a harder difficulty.

The game controls are limited to tapping and swiping, much like Infinity Blade. Swiping left, right, and up throw punches/jabs in those directions. Swiping down right as the enemy attacks counters him and stuns him. There's a few combos to discover, but the only one I ever used was the old left, right, left, right. Tapping the screen causes Batman to dodge. Occasionally, when dodging or deflecting a blow, context circles like the ones in Infinity Blade appear. These get you an extra hit or lead to a finishing move from Batman. Batman's four skills can be used by tapping their respective boxes in the lower left. All in all, the controls are excellent, responsive, and work as you'd expect. Definitely very platform-friendly.

There's four zones in the game. Each with four levels, three being a few thugs, and the last one being thugs + the boss. Sadly, the game gets quite repetitive since each of first three levels for each zone are pretty much the exact thing. Three to four enemies will come after you one after another, and you end with a stats screen that assesses your performance. Credit will be given based on your stats. Nothing changes as you progress between the zones besides the environment, which is actually very limited. The boss fights are good fun though, but there are only four of them so far.

The game also falls short in its difficulty level. It's rather low, especially after you get used to everything. I only died once in entire first run through the game, and that was against the third boss since I didn't know he had a healing ability. Your skills completely devastate the enemy when used. I don't really want to go into detail on them, but they're very similar to the "super attack" in Infinity Blade, except they recharge 5x faster. With a few upgrades, they'll recharge in just seconds. The enemies are generally very predictable, and even the bosses don't really have any surprise combos. Occasionally, they will go into berserk mode, where they just throw strike after strike at you no matter what you do, so you have to dodge them. They become stunned afterwards.

Even on my second run, the game doesn't feel much more difficult. As long as you purchase the right upgrades, you probably won't ever have to replay levels to earn more credit just so you can move on. I'm hoping that the game will be getting content updates in the future. It's doing extremely well in sales currently, so that's a good sign for the possibility.

Although the game looks and sounds incredible, the limited amount of upgrades and repetitiveness of the game take quite a toll. Sadly, it feels like a watered-down Infinity Blade more than anything, especially in the wake of IB 2's release. However, if you're a fan of games like the IB series, and Epoch, this should be a sound purchase.

    Six-Guns

Not going to go into any iAP/freemium discussion here. Just leaving my impressions of the game after playing 2-3 hours of it over the past two days.

The character models and the visuals don't disappoint for a Gameloft game. The environment actually looks pretty impressive, although quite barren at times. Like just about every other Gameloft game, the characters look fine from afar. Up close, it's a different story.

Nothing special when it comes to sound effects/music. Stereotypical "Western" music. The outlaws shout out silly phrases as you shoot at them, and the undead make the usual groaning noises.

The controls are pretty pretty subpar in my opinion. Movement is alright. It's controlled by a disappearing virtual stick. Feels pretty stiff at times. Definitely doesn't work well once you're on a horse though. Although there is iron-sight for aiming, you'll hardly ever be using it. The auto-aim in the game takes things to the next level for Gameloft in terms of aim assistance from the game. Even if you're facing the opposite direction, tap the shoot button, and you'll probably hit the enemy.

Six-Guns didn't start off too badly actually. The first thirty minutes were alright. You do quests around the map, which are just typical tasks like survive x minutes, kill x waves, find x items, win this race, shoot x targets before time runs out, etc. You get gold and experience from killing things/completing missions. Experience levels you up, letting you unlock more items in the store. Sadly, after the first thirty minutes to an hour, the repetition of the missions really hits you hard. While the environment looks pretty good as I stated, you're probably not going to doing much exploring. When you select a mission, you can click a button that automatically teleports you there free of charge. You'll probably rather spend your time earning more gold rather than looking at the scenery. As stated, the missions grow rather monotonous quickly, since there really just aren't that many types.

Where the game really falls apart though is the storyline. There isn't one. You know those Gangstar games where you just do mission after mission, but there's some dialogue in between each along with cutscenes? They don't even give you that in this game.

One of my biggest gripes with the game is that you can't purchase potions with gold. You can only buy health potions with badges, the premium currency. You get one per level, and that's it. You can also get more by looking at ads, etc. like in the usual freemium game. Also, when your ammo runs low, your only option is to buy more with gold. A huge notification comes up when you're low on health and when you're low on gold. Very annoying.

The store's prices are very high beyond the first few items. After a while, some missions actually demand you to have certain guns as a prerequisite. The first mission like that required you to have a gun that cost 5,000 gold, which could take about two hours to earn. Never did take the time to do it. Of course, there are many, many iAP packages you can buy from the store to expedite this.

One thing I did like though was the upgrade system. I was actually able to upgrade the first pistol I bought to max, which took a few thousand gold. You could upgrade the damage, reload time, ammo, and shot speed 5 times each for each gun. This brings me to the difficulty level of the game. It's extremely low. You're not going to ever want to buy any iAPs because the game is hard. You're going to want to buy them because you're going to be grinding for hours to actually get through the game if you don't. You'll use a few badges to heal when you need to, and you'll definitely be buying ammo, but neither of those take too much of a toll on your resources.

Honestly, if this game had a half-decent storyline and actually made the player feel like he was getting somewhere, this could be one of Gameloft's better titles. The graphics, sound, and controls are on par with many of their other third-person games, and the mechanics aren't terrible. What kills it is the repetition and grinding required from the player.

Sorry guys, don't have time right now to spend time with Chrono Trigger. You're going to have to look through the main game thread for impressions. Will be adding more impressions for other games should I find the time. This post continues onto the next post since it goes over the 10,000 character limit.

Popular game(s) not covered: Bejeweled, MinoMonsters, Grabatron, Chrono Trigger

Didn't make the character limit, so I had to go on to this post. Here's more impressions for the week of 12/07/11. Hopefully, I have time to add a few more before the next wave of releases.

    ----------

    Mini Motor Racing

I actually wasn't going to get this one after seeing that there was online local multiplayer, but I'm glad I changed my mind. I'm thinking we'll probably be seeing online multiplayer in the future anyways.

More than anything, this game feels like what Drawrace 2 would be if you actually drove the car instead of just drawing that path. There's a ton of variety here for the tracks. That's probably the winning point of the game. Many tracks have a elevation shifts and material of road shifts. The turns are perfectly suited for drifting, and of course, the later maps demand skill. Also, the game looks terrific. Tons of detail everywhere.

You earn more cars as you play further, which can all be graded in the usual categories. As you play on, you might have to replay a few levels to earn more money for upgrades/a new car. Your opponents are often aggressive during the race. You can pick up nitro along the course, which appears randomly. There's no rubber-banding in the game, meaning you're going to need a fast car and skill.

There's a variety of control methods, but the wheel option is probably as good as it gets. The wheel moves freely 360 degrees, and the car will move in the direction the wheel is being pointed towards. It's really more of a analog than anything, but you have to hold down the gas to make it go in that direction. Like I said, it's perfect for a top-down racer like this.

There's really not much else to say. The races are fun and get very challenging, there's a bunch of cars/maps to unlock and upgrade, and there's local multiplayer if you have someone to play it with. Looking forward to online multiplayer in the future.

    Highly recommended.

    Dead on Arrival

The game tries hard to be the top-down version of CoD Zombies. You see tons of influences from the game like turning on the electricity, buying weapons off the wall, weapon mystery boxes, boarding up doors, etc. The game uses DSS controls, which generally works well with the game.

The only iAP you'll want to purchase here is the one to remove the ads. Otherwise, the premium currency can be earned quite quickly, and is used in-game for things like turning on the power, getting weapons from the mystery box, and permanently unlocking weapons from the wall. The system is actually pretty well-done here.

Graphically, it's not very impressive. The character models are ugly, and the environment isn't anything special. Not only that, even on the lowest graphics setting, there's framerate issues on the 4th gen. iPod. Nothing special about the sound effects.

Gameplay wise, the game is extremely mediocre. Of course, you try to stay alive as long as possible as wave after wave of zombies come after you. It's honestly a dull experience and can't even be compared to how intense the gameplay in WaW Zombies feels. Not to mention, the DSS genre has many exceptional titles that blow this one away.

If you're going to base your game off a popular title, make it good. Can't say there's much to see here guys. Give it a download if you want to since it's free, but I don't think it's worth the time personally.

    Dead on Arrival

Plays very similar to Call of Duty Zombies but as a dual stick shooter. You board up windows, mystery box, guns of walls. IAP Doesn't really effect this that much. The IAP are one of 3 things. 99c to remove ads, 99c for 2x Z-bucks and and certain amounts of Z-bucks (all very reasonable. For all the content you can pay a 3.99 IAP for 2000 Z-bucks). They are obtained in 3 ways, every round you survive you earn 1 Z-Buck (unless you buy the 2x IAP), Tapjoy, and as stated before the IAP. They aren't all that hard to get in game though Z-bucks are used to purchase upgrades. They are also used to purchase the extremely good weapons from the mystery box off the wall for 3 Z-bucks. For a much higher amount you can unlock them permanently for in game use. Rounds can get a little tough and the upgrades are very important. The game plays very well and for being free its a great plus. Overall this game is great and everybody should pick this up 8.8/10 :D

Thanks for the impressions as always.

Not really in position to play the bigger title games (iPod Touch 2G), but if Mini Motor Racing is compatible, I'll go ahead and give that a spin.

So, Backtothis already covered this, but leaving an impression on it as I only picked this one. And for that already, this will be smaller impression than usually.

The game's a top-down racing game with wacky drifting, awesome kind of realistic yet still cartoony graphics, tight controls and best of all - it features Fruit Ninja track, car and a cup!!! :)

Okay, so I've been following the development of the game since April and I've been building myself a big hype for this and it was as good as I expected it to be - unless even better! The graphics are gorgeus and the sounds are actually good that I'm keeping sounds on every time I play. More of the graphics; great shadows, light rays and dust.

The tracks are generally short, but their full of tight curves and sometimes there are hills and bumps on the road. Every track I've played so far, still has at least one place for a safe nitro boost without crashing to a wall. There are many cars, but they're basically all way too expensive unless you use IAP, ofc that's a big downer for a paid app. The amount of tracks is big, not sure how big though.

There are 4 different controls, all are awesome, but I found the two arrows to fit me the best. Oddly there's no Death Rally joystick. Anyway, controls work well, but now let's talk about the stucking on walls. That happens often. If I touch a wall a little I get stuck which might cost me the lead. The AI also gets very tough starting from Fruit Ninja cup as the opponents are using the nitro as a weapon and crashing on you - this happens on the start of the race, after you're pass them you just have to be aware of getting stuck.

That's about it, great races that might be boring at first, but they get really hard and no, it's not boring and repetitive. The devs might add online multiplayer later which will make it even a better instabuy.

Just went through and delete anything that was about the mechanics of the thread, general comments, etc. In the future, comments should be limited to game impressions, though I'll let requests and kudos stick around.

If I may recommend something to the crew, I'd say that the shorter impressions work better than the long, full reviews. Either way, the effort is appreciated. I'll try to contribute when I can.

Thanks a ton. Looks like the thread slimmed down by over 100 posts. Much easier to find the useful stuff now.

Haha, I leave different lengthened impressions depending on what game it is. If it's something meant to be a deeper experience and is more costly, I'll probably be writing more for it. That's pretty much what I did this week, 2 long posts followed by 2 short posts.

Once again, thanks for the effort.

I'm doing quick impressions from now on since I've started doing reviews. Review are a bit tougher than I thought because I'm trying to keep them more formal (prolly never happen). Plus, i want to find that perfect balance between review and impression.

    Anyways, here you go!

    Save the Furries
The graphics in this game are very, very good and can possibly rival some of the bigger 3D titles out there. The game is pretty much a puzzle platformer. You have to use different mechanisms to get to the end of the level as well as figuring out how to get the medals along the way. I'm playing on an iPod touch and everything runs smoothly for the most part, but the game requires you to move a ball around to move things and this can be quite difficult/frustrating on the small screen. Ugh, how I long for 4.7" screen (apple hear my cries or Android step up your community/support).

Anyways, you will sometimes find yourself wishing for more screen real estate when you play this game on the iPod/iPhone. there is an iPad version, in which this will more than likely play better on, but it will cost you another $4. I can't help but wonder why they didn't make the game universal. Maybe they felt the price justified the game itself and maybe it does. But with games like GTA: III, and so forth, being universal for $5; I have to think it won't sell to well, especially on the iPod/iPhone.

For anyone with an iPad, even though i don't have one, I'd suggest checking out this game. For anyone with an iPod/iPhone, I say "MEH". When I write my review, I'll hopefully have something more eloquent then meh to say.

    Tongue Tied
*This is a modified post! (I made one earlier)

This isn't a puzzle platformer. It's pretty much a platformer that requires mastery of the mechanic and knowledge of the level layout to get all of the bones. There's no needed deep thought about how do I get this or that.

Graphics: look good, but something's off (IDK)

If you want a puzzle platformer go for Stretched (got a 10/10 on our site) or Save the Furries (new and still deciding if it's worth $4). There's no deep thought about how do I get this or that.

Nonetheless, Tongue Tied is an excellent (very fun) platformer and my review for it will be up later today.

    Odd One Out
In all honesty, this game probably won't appeal to the masses, IDK. You pretty much rotate the red bubble gum guy off of the platform while keeping the blue ones on. Understanding how the game works is simple, but the puzzles can get quite challenging. I love puzzle games, so I'll put some time into it, but with other games liked Stretched, and so forth, out there I don't know if this is truly worth it for the non-puzzler fan.

The game looks good and everything is clean, but nothing about it pops out and says, whoa that looks nice.

    iDamaged
The controls aren't ideal by any stretch of the imagination, but if you switch the controls to fire left it makes the game a bit easier to play. Like Gabrien said, the game is begging for tap to shoot. Also, aiming isn't as tight as I'd want it and collision impact seems to be quite off.

As far as the graphics, it reminds me of the Commando from Miniclip for some reason; only more polished. For the most part the graphics are pretty good. Could some of the textures be refined? Sure!

Other than that I'm enjoying the game. there's a decent amount of customization and you can shoot multiple weapons at the same time which is a nice touch. If they fix the previously mentioned problems, the game will be awesome.

    Snoticles
So far this has been a great game. It pretty much plays like your typical aim-to-shoot physics game. Everything seems to be pretty solid as far as graphics, gameplay, and controls. If your'e a fan of games like Peggle, Fragger, etc. then pick this up ASAP!

Definitely not an Angry Birds Clone, but does have a smidge of Peggle elements.

    *More to Come

Yeah, I'm going to hit those later since I know they'll be getting a lot of attention anyways.

    Terra Noctis

Anyways, I've been playing it off and on for a little now and everything is just awesome. I love the fact that it's a full blown out platformer where you search the world finding everything then run through it as fast as you can to get the top score. There's all different types of extra paths, hidden nooks, doors that lead to different parts of the level (think going down the tunnel in mario), and bonus areas.

The gameplay is also spot on. I haven't had one problem with the arrow controls because they're big. They're also transparent, for the most part, so you can still observe the beautifully, awesome world. Also, the jump butto is extremely responsive/accurate. I haven't had any problems jumping from platform to platform yet. Honestly, the controls are just impeccable. I've played around with the shoot mechanic and it works awesomely. I haven't had a problem hitting anything yet and it doesn't feel bad or hard to use at all. Again, the controls are impeccable! :D:D:D:D

The graphics are beautiful. I feel like I'm in this surreal world an just awwww. There are beautiful pastel colors all around me and I keep getting mesmerized looking at everything. I really do hope people appreciate the graphics and understand why they look like this. It's like asking a dev to clean up his 16 bit graphics that he put so much work into. Based on my personal taste, I like these graphics way more than anything else on iOS right now. I also appreciate the little things like how the monsters look at you when you move around!

The music is also awesome. I'm not a composer so I can't ge you some detailed paragraph about why. However, I do know it's a laid back, trance like vibe that really sucks you into the game. There is some upbeat to it that is known to be in platformers, but I still find it to be somewhat laid back and mellow.

Tip: Smash every box in the level because one of the item boxes might be behind it.

Maybe once I play more, I'll see some screw-ups/mishaps, but that won't be until tomorrow evening EST.

Anyways this is an excellent game and if you're waiting for a 0.99 sale, shame on you! This is worth much more than the $3 asking price.

****Oh yeah, there is an in game shop but there's no IAP. You only use the fairies to buy things in it.

**So far the only thing I'm going to b*tch about in my official review is the lack of Game Center support.

I'm playing on normal and I find it to be easily accessible to the novice platform gamer. I've personally never found any run n' jump platformer to be super difficult.

    Also:

    EDIT: Nightmare

Ran through some of the Nightmare difficulty levels for testing purposes. I can confirm that there are a ton of enemies. I had a little bit o difficulty but not a ton. but keep in mind platformers are one of my favorite genres. You'll more than likely die, or at least lose a heart, from exploring. So, pretty much trying to fulfill the objectives/collect everything will make the game quite difficult. I found that at certain areas there'd be about 5 or so enemies waiting for; some are aggressive and some aren't, some you can only kill by shooting (keep in mind your ammo is limited).

As far as less platforms, I don't know because I didn't play enough on normal. I deleted my save and started playing on Nightmare.

The game is tilt based and done very, very, very well. It's definitely one of the best tilt experiences I've played with. You don't hold the device flat because it's not fully top down; you hold it at an angle and it just feels good/natural.

You will pretty much be trying to get to the end of each level while collecting gems, smashing crates, avoiding traps, going over obstacles, and laying a smack down on some mushroom baddies. Again, everything is fluid because your tilting to move, so you have the whole left side of the screen to attack and the whole right side of the screen to jump.

Overall, the game is hella fun and sorta gives me PS2 flashbacks. I'll definitely need more time with this bad boy.

Oh yeah, the graphics are on point as well. Everything looks smooth and really just awesome. The game is bright, colrful, and just an absolute pleasure to look at! Again, PS2 flashbacks!!!

    Definitely worth the buy!

    M.U.S.E (Impression/reply from game thread)
Hmm...I played Shadowgun and love that game with all my heart. I've praised it since the first second it came out.

With that said, I really, really like this game. Everything is good about except the controls. TBH, it might be the controls that are so off putting to people. i re-downloaded SG and played the first level and boy o' boy those are some good controls (just like I remembered).

Anyways, I actually prefer the the gameplay in this to Shadowgun. Lack luster battles? I definitely find the battles to be more intense than most other games and the AI seems intelligent for the most part. They advance, take cover when they need to, and try and take your head off. There's also enough of them at a given time to keep you busy. I'm betting that if they added more enemies frame rate would start to drop considerably.

TBH, I don't know what some people are comparing this game to as far as gameplay, but why are he battles lack luster. So far, the only thing I've seen is the lack of variety in enemies, but I'm also not that far yet. When I think of Shadow gun, I remember the AI not being aggressive enough and I ran through it way too easily. The final boss was child's play for me.

There are also so many dynamics that people seem to be missing. The terrain is destructible and it's a blast to blow things up (maybe I just can't think of all these other games where the explosions were epic). Linking destruction together is very rewarding IMO. The little things play a factor like when you blow up a car by shooting it, it's a small explosion. When you throw a grenade or blow up a car by shooting a barrel it's a bigger explosion and the car flips over and everything. Your enemies look blurry through the glass, then you blast through taking their heads off. Again, the AI is one of the smartest I've seen on iOS. **Here's what I'll say the explosions could be a little bigger and bit more dynamic, but how they are now doesn't decrease the awesomeness for me.

Let's talk about frame rate. The game was a bit laggy but definitely runs better then a lot the other laggy releases. Also, it seems as if the lag goes down the more you play. The game got a bit smoother and I didn't really have too many hiccups. There are crashes but they're few and far between. So, I can only imagine how this plays on Ipad 2's and 4s'. Again, i hope optimization gets better!

The graphics. I'm not really going to go too much into it because if you've played Shadowgun, you pretty much know what to expect. Everything looks clean and crisp for the most part. The setting is a war torn earth and the design is very nice. Honestly, in the Shadowgun v. M.U.S.E debate, I give the edge to M.U.S.E because their is more detail in the game. You can tell a lot of work was definitely put into this.

Last little side bits is that they're are plenty of nice (and welcomed) cut scenes, a pretty decent leveling system (haven't really fooled around with it too much yet), a pretty good story, and definitely more replay value than most shooters even without MP.

***Here's what I need! Less screen real estate for movind around. Honestly, all i need is the bottom left corner to move. All that valuable space could go toward looking around. The sensitivity need to be turned way up because it's incredibly low. I feel like the took the GL route of look sensitivity. I would like to be able to move the roll button to the top right and tweak where the crouch button is because I hit it when I move. I'd prefer tap to shoot controls, but if they're not in the lineup, I'd like to be able to move the shoot button. Also, I don't know if it's the detail intensity of the game or my device, but looking around isn't smooth at all. If it wasn't for auto aim I'd be screwed 9 times out of 10. Here's the kicker: auto aim works very well, but with it on it's hard to blow things up because the reticle always wants to jump to the enemy.

Controls aside, this is a really good game. I'm managing to play without my ideal set up nut I'm definitely not the happiest camper...AT ALL!

Yeah well I haven't played GTA 3 that much and well, not a fan of the series anyway and what Wind-Up Knight does, it does it well.

Sorry about last week. Didn't find the time. You're going to want to get Sonic CD, GTA III, and Trenches II though at some point in time if they're compatible with your device. Great games.

    12/21/11

Back to short impressions this week. Should be adding to this list soon hopefully. Haven't picked up anything else yet. Considering Terra Noctis, MUSE, LostWinds, and Mega Man X at the moment.

    Crazy Hedgy

Very positive impressions after the first few levels. Kept feeling like I was playing Rayman/SM 3D Land, which is the highest compliment possible. I still feel like tilt to move is rather tedious though. I guess it'd be too generic if it used a virtual joystick, and the camera would have been difficult to perfect. That's not to say they don't work well though. Really liking the upgrade system. Looks like there's tons of content as promised. Highly recommended.

    Dungeon Hunter 3

Honestly, I couldn't have been more disappointed after playing this that this wasn't a true sequel to DH2. It could have been an extremely competent game, even more so than Six-Guns. Thought the iAP system in S-G was bad? You're in for a rude awakening then. Potions don't just cost 1 premium credit, they cost 3. Also, you have to wait 30 minutes just to upgrade your starting equips. Don't want to wait? Use a premium credit. Btw, most of the new equips you'll want to buy require premium credits. To unlock the reward for beating each level, you have to use a key. (another kind of premium credit, yeah there's two kinds this time, surprise). You have to wait a lengthy amount of time before getting one for free. Sadly, you probably won't stand much of a chance in the game if you're not a warrior. Won't be spending any more time with it. I'll concede this though: if you're willing to grind a ton, you'll make it through the game.

    Zenonia 4

Besides the ads and the iAPs to expand inventory space, Zenonia 4 honestly does everything better than its predecessors. First off, I don't think the game could look any better for a KRPG. Although we still don't have 360 degree movement, the auto-detect when attacking is now just simply amazing. Really well-done there. Interesting thing they did with the skill tree. The passive/buff/active skills are now all intertwined. Story, stats, equips, etc. still mirror the other games. Menu navigates nicely. Sound effects are done well. You're going to want to try this out if you're a fan of KRPGs. If you're experienced at them, you should have no trouble getting through this game without purchasing any iAPs. Rest assured though, you will have to grind. Who would have guessed? This is a KRPG after all. Overall, very positive impressions. It's free.
