Really? Do you have a 1st gen Touch? It is the worst at running games. I have the original iPhone and it works fine
I have a 1st gen touch. The first few stages are choppy, but tolerable. They were less choppy after the most recent update to the game. But from the 3rd or 4th level (forget which number it was...it was titled "The Descent") the game was pretty smooth. That level was the smoothest though, and I can only guess it was the more subdued color palette and less frequent enemy encounters that helped it along. In fact...I nominate "The Descent" level of HoS as "the best level in an iTouch/Phone game ever". Seriously...that level, iirc, ran the smoothest on my 1st gen touch. And, yeah, it was more subdued like I stated, and had less fights, but the level design was actually quite beautiful, the muted blue and green tones fit perfectly, and while there were less frequent fights the level did introduce the death pendulums and minor switch pulling puzzles. If the whole game was like that level, I would rate it a solid 8 instead of a solid 7.
I have a 2nd gen ipod touch. The game is beautiful and runs very smooth. If you have an iphone 1st gen or just an iphone in general, it won't run fast as the ipod touch version, especially the first gen.
Definitely Zen Bound, that was just a major accomplishment of a game. Also for future games, I think Tiger Woods 09 will have amazing graphics
For overall aesthetics, I definitely say Zen Bound. It's one of the most beautiful games I've ever played. As far as graphics go, 2XL, Fastlane, ExZeus, and Hill Billy are all pretty great.
Sorry to be off topic but wanted to let you know DHrox to check into the brand new game "Dark Nova" which appears to be better than Space Trader. Looks like it has great graphics too It's free and I just downloaded it a few hrs ago
Super Monkey Ball - while it probably doesn't have the best graphics, it's still one of the best looking games on the device, considering it was one of the first games released...
