Strip poker or spin the bottle aside, what is the greatest game you ever played ... any format. It doesn't matter... Mobile, board, card, or something else... What is the greatest game you ever played?
Hard to pick, but I wouldn't have a problem saying Skyrim (& mods) is the best game I have ever played.
Console: Final Fantasy 7 would have to be taking the cake for me after I had 2 save files that read 99:59:59 and they weren't copies. I played in that damn arcade for DAYS!!!! Board game: RISK!!! GameBoy: Breath of Fire series PC: Heroes of Might and Magic 3 or Diablo 1 Sex games: The down and dirty hitting thirty hidden behind the back pin the tail on the ****** adventure
Haha. Wasn't expecting that when I opened your thread, but your post brought back some great memories. Long time ago, when I was a teenager. We would steal a couple beers from my neighbors garage, over a few weeks span (hoping he wouldn't notice) until we had 12 or so. Then, we would all sneak out of the house and go play "Truth or Dare" with the neighborhood girls, down at the park. Had a lot of "first time experiences" at that park. Sorry for the long story
I think the overall greatest game(s) would be all the Ratchet & Clank games. I'd returned to console gaming after a small hiatus of a few years and it stands out as being the most memorable of times playing. Also need to add F-Zero on Gameboy Advanced.
Diablo 1. It was very scary at the time, especially as a 10 year old. Also, first real multiplayer game. Will always be my #1.
Chaos by Julian Gollop on the ZX Spectrum. It hit me at just the right age and with just the right substances.
Man, how can I answer THAT? I've been gaming since 1972, so we're talking 43 years of gaming goodness! I've been through a LOT and spent a FORTUNE on it! I honestly can't choose!
Tie between The World Ends With You, Valkyrie Profile Covenant Of The Plume and Zelda: Minish Cap. I cannot for the life of me pick just one of them as an all-time fave sorry...
Omg! This is way too hard for me to answer. Well my overall favorite game franchise would be Street fighter.
I think mine would be "half ball". If you lived in the Philly area you probably at least have heard of it. It was based on baseball. You used baseball sized hollow rubber balls and cut the balls in half. You could throw some serious curve balls that way. The batter used a broom handle as the bat. The idea was to hit the ball across the street, and have it hit part of a tall wall.... the higher it went, the further you advanced - meaning low on the wall was a single.... above a certain point was a double, even higher was a triple, and on the roof was a home run. Of course if the ball fell from the wall, and it was caught, it was an out. There were other rules, but that is the basic premise. We used a ball called a "pimple ball". https://images.search.yahoo.com/images/view;_ylt=A0LEV7xX4gBVrxgAkdUnnIlQ;_ylu=X3oDMTBsa3ZzMnBvBHNlYwNzYwRjb2xvA2JmMQR2dGlkAw--?p=pimple+ball&back=https%3A%2F%2Fsearch.yahoo.com%2Fyhs%2Fsearch%3Fp%3Dpimple%2Bball%2Bimage%26ei%3DUTF-8%26hsimp%3Dyhs-001%26hspart%3Dmozilla&w=277&h=277&imgurl=forums.watchuseek.com%2Fattachments%2Ff73%2F1565043d1405526386-childhood-reminders-pimple-ball.jpg&size=30KB&name=1565043d1405526386-childhood-reminders-pimple-ball.jpg&rcurl=http%3A%2F%2Fforums.watchuseek.com%2Ff73%2Fchildhood-reminders-1057619-2.html&rurl=http%3A%2F%2Fforums.watchuseek.com%2Ff73%2Fchildhood-reminders-1057619-2.html&type=&no=13&tt=119&oid=cac6c951e8bdfcafbe72aa7119a82996&tit=Re%3A+Childhood+Reminders&sigr=123nj58v2&sigi=12sgj81bv&sign=11mt9mdkg&sigt=103d1h5lg&sigb=12t376tks&fr=yhs-mozilla-001&hspart=mozilla&hsimp=yhs-001
I think you may like Resogun if you have access to it. It's it's own game but its roots are in Defender.
Downloading on Vita now. Just been playing that Aqua Kitty on the Vita too. Fantastic stuff - nothing beats the sights and sounds of the coin-op though.
