I've been playing Soosiz a lot lately, and it deffinately has a speed similar to Mari, while gravity effects set it apart. However, I chose Rolando 1. Castle of Magic was great, but I didn't like the controls. Rolando 2 just didn't seem to have the same charm as the first one, even with added story line. It took me a while to choose between Soosiz and Rolando though. I'm still on the underwater levels, and think it's worth trying as well.

Oh, man, you're right on the Toy Bot Series and I can't figure out how to change the poll. Can you tell I never got into those games. If Edge counts then that's my pick: I'm not a platformer fan, and Edge snuck past me without me thinking of it that way Nevertheless I did buy Castle of Magic and it looks very promising. I just have to play more before I judge.
I enjoyed Bounce On and have played through getting gold on all levels at least twice on separate installs, and will need to again when the new world comes out I guess . I liked Toki Tori but I agree it shouldn't be grouped with some of these others. I also felt very little desire to play through it again at the end. Agree on Edge being rather out of place in the list too. I really liked Rolando 1 from the first time I saw it; it was real innovation on the platform concept to my mind, and a great fit with the iPhone ... platform as it were. I think its controls and gameplay beat out Rolando 2's to leave it as my vote pick. I did not enjoy the original Toy Bot Diaries lite version, and so never went any further with that series. I am enjoying Soosiz but it makes me dizzy , and that impacts on a decision like this!
Yeah, you know I agree, but people would group Tori Toki on this forum with platformers. I guess next time I'll remove it. Bounce On Rocks....doesn't it?
We had a top 5 a few months ago. The winners were: Rolando 2 Toki Tori EDGE Sway Castle of Magic And Spy Bot Chronicles. Though I see what you guys mean by Toki Tori and EDGE not really being strict platformers. Also, this poll was done before the release of Soosiz. Seems interest in Bounce On has grown. My hidden gem is actually Archibald's Adventures. That game has kept me hooked for hours because there are so many levels and there's a reaction/puzzle element too which I like.
Anybody who picks a game other than Soosiz hasn't played it yet. It's insanely better than all of these. It's just my opinion but I think it is and I have played all of these.
Hmm...lots of votes for Soosiz. My favourite is currently Soosiz - I like everything about it. They nailed the gameplay and controls.
