I would wait until the year 2100 before pronouncing it "twenty-(something)" but I can't really say that cuz I might be dead by then
Simple answer, For 1994 you wouldn't say the year is "One thousand nine hundred ninety four" You would say "Nineteen ninety Four" Just like you wouldn't say Two thousand and ten, it's just twenty ten... Hope I could clear that up for everyone!
Twenty-Ten. I should know; everybody in Vancouver keeps referring to the Olympics as the "Twenty-Ten Winter Games".
Ehh, I've just been saying one thousand times three minus nine hundred and ninety and it's been working out ok.
I'm adopting a similar approach. When someone asks me the question "When did this happen?!", I reply with "this year".
derivatives? there is be an easier way dawg edit: actually I'm not even sure that's a derivative... havent done it the long way for months.../nerdiness
