If budget is your primary concern, then I suggest you get the discounted ones. ;) Here's a list of good mystery Hidden Object games at 2.99 and below:

Women's Murder Club is on sale at 1.99 and has a pretty good story.

So is Mystery of the Crystal Portal at 2.99.

The Lost Cases of Sherlock Holmes creates a random mystery every time you play (similar to Clue), so it's good value for 1.99. Not sure about the story aspect though.

Marooned has great gameplay and is not too expensive at 2.99, but it ends on a major cliffhanger (and the sequel is nowhere in sight).

Cassandra is decent and affordable at 1.99, check out the trial to see if it's your type.

I haven't played Alicia Darkstone, but the art looks beautiful and it's only 0.99.

And lastly, if girly stuff doesn't put you off, check out Dream Day Weddings, which is on sale at 0.99. It's not a mystery, but is an enjoyable Hidden Object game. :)

    How do you ingame life

I‘m Jackie, playing SRO. have two characters, get support from gkplayer.
have only been playing for a month or so,
but still manage to pvp and get in on the big fleet action. i'm in

a large corp and so there's always something to

    do.

That works in the early stages but you quickly

get to a point where none of the skills you

want take less than a couple of days at best to

    train.

Oh budget is not a problem. Its the space that is an issue :p. I was just looking to get maybe 2 of them for now, whichever have the most content and best storyline (more to it than strictly hidden object), no matter the price.

Probably the mystery game I enjoyed the most on itouch is surrounded. It is on sale for a buck and it was cool to play. Similar to Haunted Mansion but I finished Haunted Mansion in a couple of hours and Surrounded kept me going for a couple of weeks (well, also I didn't have much time in my hands as of now..)
edit: This game falls under the category of Escape games where you have to find a way out of a house. Don't know if that is what you are looking.

  5. Well in that case, definitely Nick Chase and Women's Murder Club. :)
