Enviro-Bear 2010, hands down. It's the randomest, most creative game ever assembled on any device. Here are the runner-ups: 1. Eliss: Frustrating puzzle/ action game. 2. Gloop: Mesmerizing physics toy. 3. Zen Bound: Great relaxation "game." 4. Thumpies: Nice, creepy take on rhythm games. 5. Beat It!: Same as above! 6. Battle Bears: Nearly as random as Enviro-Bear.
1.) Enviro-Bear, only parallel is the PC version which fails to convey the frustration of a bear driving a modern machine like the iphone game so masterfully does... 2.) Spider- unique way to tell a story. 3.) Eliss- minimalist space management games are the new fps, guess i just ran out of creativity for my list...
Well, weird CAN BE creative.. like "I killed a zombie by stucking his head in the oven.." That's weird but creative..
Not unless you season the head before putting it in there and adding just a pinch of oregano and paprika. QuickTurn Crazy Mouth (not a game, but a really cool app) Edge makes platformers incredibly trippy Galcon, although it was an original PC/Mac game, it flourished on here (anyone know about an iPad version?) Exorcist, no doubt. Accelerometer + Touchscreen Jet Car Stunts Space Miner Ore Scoops Sway
If we're talking games that are original, play well and wouldn't have worked on a console/computer: Cross Fingers - uses multitouch like nothing else. Fox vs Duck - OK, it could work with other ways of steering the duck but the game feels right on the accelerometer and is so utterly original. Poppi - hugely underrated exercise in stripping gameplay to the basics, with lovely graphics and running at a perfectly smooth 60 FPS.
One Way Home (lite): The best way to describe it is a platformer game where the screen displays the ground directly beneath you, and your fingers or thumbs serve as feet. Excellent use of multitouch.
