It's been figured out pretty well on GameFAQs boards somewhere, I'm looking for it now. The gametrailers video is wrong, btw. Basically, they're all connected by the 'history repeats itself' idea. There's also multiple timelines (starting at a certain point) which were created by all the time travel crazyness in N64 Ocarina of Time, and Nintendo is still going forward with the plot in both of the timelines. Also, Ganon lives a really long time and is the same person throughout all the games, but there are multiple Links. Zelda Series Timeline Chart Edit: Here it is, massive wall of text : http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/genmessage.php?board=920769&topic=42336718
holy...... i am speechless wow so are the only zelda direct sequel games The legend of zelda then zelda 2 and oot then majoras mask? edit: okay so i guess sense TP follows MM i should finally get it! ANYONE which version should i get Wii or GC?
Yep. There's also Oracle of Time/Ages, and Wind Waker -> Phantom Hourglass (and that one might be followed by Spirit Tracks as well)...
Never played it on GCN but loved the Wii version, the controls were great. It was my first Wii game, so it was a pretty cool experience to get away from the traditional PS2 style controllers. It really makes the N64 games feel kinda old when you have to go back to using a button to swing your sword . It's also a lot easier to use the Bow, Hootshot, and all those aiming items with the Wii remote instead of a analog stick.
ok thanks i like how this thread started as a timeline and went to a game suggestion topic, maybe ill make a poll asking everyone.... as soon as this thread dies....... "shifty eyes" (dramatic music plays)
