I tried it, I didn't like it very much. Also, I think the whole "doodle" thing is totally played out, so a game needs to be really good to overcome that.
As silly as this may sound I agree P.s. I'm not saying this game sucks at all. I haven't tried it. I'm just fed up of seeing Doodle in every game title. I always stray away from any Doodle game.
I think that Doodle Army is a great game and that it deserves WAY more attention that it is getting. The dev is an active member of this forum and he keeps pushing updates to us.And you guys don't think it should be reviewed because of the word "Doodle". That makes no sense.
well, i guess Eli's spoken. i have to say, i agree it's not en EXCEPTIONAL game. sure, it's fun once in a while, but it's not that great
Have you even looked at Doodle Army? How much more doodle-ish could it be? When Hodapp said "I think the whole "doodle" thing is totally played out", he wasn't talking about the title. And for those who say it's not a good game, the rating of the current version is 4.5 stars with 208 people voting, so yeah, it's a good game.
Isn't Doodle like a person doodling on a peice of paper kind of art? DA doesn't really feel doodle-ish to me, more like stickmany (?). Ya know?
The game has had plenty of exposure in the top 100 list, so why does it need a review? It has obviously sold well enough without one.
Rogue Runner got into the top 200 games but has been dropping recently. It's 3x as good as Doodle Army, easily, yet hasn't gotten an STP or touchArcade review yet. Sometimes review sites are just racist against awesome.
Yah those itune reviews are always so spot on. I tried it and hated it, and deleted it after about 10 minutes.
