Yeah the previous 'Free' font looks better. Definitely prefer the new colours though. As for the layout stuff, I was thinking it might look better if it was one on top of the other in a flat axis instead of the current design (kinda like letters in a mailbox), but I'm not sure if it would look nice given the space constraints.
looks much nicer now i think. didn't know that was a (price) shredder before. but the A at least sticks out more now.
actually i think the teeth looks of something like this : http://www.fotosearch.com/CSP421/k4211503/ would be more intuitive perhaps?
This one seems to convey there's $2.99, $1.99, and Free all together. What's the point? Who could figure out what is being offered here? And all just blue and white? Confusing and unatractive IMO.
As far as vonObstfelder latest version, I think the center divider should be a bit thinner. This would allow more focus on the prices. Perhaps also have the first shown price be at more of an angle so that the one in the background could show more of the numbers. This could give more of an impression of the reducing prices. I also think the "Free" part shouldn't have the gloss look to it. I think it would be better to have that entire slide be the darker blue like the top half currently has. This would coincide more with the darker blues of the App Store price buttons. As for bem 69's suggestion, more color is definitely needed. Perhaps have the prices in blue and the "Free" in green.
No problems, I know they are similar colours. What I had in mind is using those tags that are actual icons on the iPhone AppStore. Just adding into the pool of ideas and suggestions.
It would be cool if you guys add a button or a handle or a switch or something to that nature so it seems like the customer is interacting with it. Like they're making change a or wish that the app they want goes free!
