    More Info!

Per request, the iPad2 contest is extended until Monday the 18th of April at 1:00PM PST so you have the weekend time to play & video!!!

The screenshots of the Game Over screen can be photoshopped (as seen in our other contest), so we are sticking strong to emailing us a video of your game play. :D:p:)

PLEASE make sure the video is clear! Thanks

    Video!

Have someone with an iPhone (or other device) video you with their device. Similar to people making You Tube videos and videoing themselves :)
We did a gameplay video with an iPhone & they make great videos!

One possible problem ... Gmail has an attachment limit (for both sending and receiving) of 25MB. Even with great compression, I don't know if a full game could be contained in that limit.

how bout change the content of the contest? I'm tired of playing ARR over the weeks...my eyes are so painful ...and my hands too =p

it's hard for those who are working to have ppl filming them playing at night too

p/s: Milk Drinking Cow..have ur team prove or identify that the highscores are not authentic?

Playing on an iPad is ok or is that disqualified?

Hmm, I have to find a video recorder that takes 24hrs of footage. So, what you're saying is that you must take a video of the whole game with your highest score?

I wish there was another way to authenticate...

it's hard to ask people to film because god knows when we will get the high score we desire...

not very viable as we will have to play the game every possible moment

those ppl who said ppl playing cheat 1 don't becoz cannot get the ipad, now you all very happy! ppl no need sleep whole day and study time to win this contest, now sumore need to replay! THANKS for Milkdrinkingcow such of "GOOD" decision, as this decision i decided won't support any of your apps or contest! wasting my time!

and those say me play the dice fight why so fast get 20k, becoz after i download i keep nonstop playing for many hours, sumore the contest is not the total score, is another score, that score i still on the 6th place! don't always say ppl play cheat! If i play cheat i direct play until the first and get that $25 GC! If anyone of you win, i say you play cheat? you cannot prove anything that you play by yourself, like other game submit score 1 i also can go say you all play cheat win that game!how? think by yourself!

these not mean i'm cheating so i don't want take part this contest! is i boycott any contest from MilkDrinkingCow!

The only thing a video can authenticate is the person who's playing, and not someone else. Trying to get a high score is time consuming and I don't think anyone else would have the same passion to wait (video-er) other than the player.

Hmm... It's too bad the contest didn't end on friday @ 1 PST ;) Then i would have won and none of this drama would have occurred. ha ha.

Anyways guys, Sorry i have been away from this thread for a day or two. I've been busy with school/work. And I'm happy to see this extension as i get another chance to win!

But i am also a bit confused on how exactly the new rules and regulations will be applied, as the way they were worded kind of confused me

So just to be sure that i have read this correctly, MDC is wanting a full length video of the round of the players high score? I'm not to sure about anyone else, but i don't really have an easy way to record my game play while im playing.

So i have a possible suggestion of having the end score screen recorded with the high score and all of the buttons, followed by a CLEAR shot of the entire device and then pressing "play again" and starting up another game and then quitting to the main menu in order to prove that its not a screen shot and they achieve the high score. But at the same time it should help eliminate part of the trouble of recording the gameplay.

But like i said, thats just a possible suggestion, In no way do you have to do as i say as this is your contest and you have the right to regulate it as you please.

Just please come back and further elaborate on the new guidelines!

    Thanks,
    Tan Tan

i think you have to record the full length of gameplay to convince people you achieve the scores genuinely. I dont mean u cheat but some people may not
accept the post-gameplay scores and swallow it.

Hmm, to be fair, I think Danielang, should be given the benefit of the doubt, and let him post the video to the developer first. I mean, c'mon, accusations are flying, put yourself in his shoes, you just won an iPad 2, f**k man, I'd be ecstatic, and a day later, taken away from you. I want that iPad 2 myself but I feel bad for him. Whats your say on this, MDC?

Also, in order to avoid unnecessary conflict. I'm going to suggest that everyone just ignores dainelang. If i have learned anything from my time as time as a troll from the PSU forums its that somebody will always try to start something and someone else will always try to correct that person.

And with his recent passive aggressive post of partially incoherent ramblings. It's clear that he's not to happy about all of this (Although i can not blame him for that. I would be pretty upset my self) and there is a chance he will try something.

So just avoid it, for MDC's sake and let those two parties handle it over PM/email. Keeping this thread free from it.

P.S. My review/suggestion is still a work in progress. And thankfully i can procrastinate on it some more now with the extension.

And the moral of the story is: have contests that are pure 100% natural luck. No skill, work, or voting involved

Wow that's lot of drama on this contest!

Having someone to video recording you while playing the game in order to PROVE that you ain't cheating - one of the dumbest idea I have ever heard!

It requires COUNTLESS of REPLAY & REPLAY, skills combined with luck, this achievement is not one-time thing. And do you expect a videographer to record & record your gameplay over & over again ?? Doesnt make sense at all. I participated in this contest as well, but isn't doing as good as the others, yet I admire those who sacrificed their time and energy on this game. I feel disappointed with the way the organizer handle things. Also feel my deepest sorrow for Daniel Ang.

I apologize if my words are harsh. Please give a fair deal and put yourself in others shoes. Thank you.

without real proof its hard to say if someone is cheating or not.
from what i can tell the programmer of MDC couldnt say
for 100 % if its true or cheating.
so with that being said its not fair to start the competion over.
doesnt the saying go..innocent until proven guilty.
surely he can just proof that he can get this kind of high score by just taping the last part of the game before it goes to gameover or something like that ?
otherwise the competition needs to be cancelled because it still will have a bad smell to it.
