Curlington for all. (five stars) Reviewed by ojtitus on the US App Store This is a fun and challenging take on the game of Curling. Sure we've all seen curling on the Olympics and this game has that and much more. This game offers two kinds of curling, arcade mode which is a little easier to play and has a few extras you won't see in real life like the exploding stones and a few other specialty stones. It also offers a simulation mode which is more difficult to master but is more true to the real game. This game also offers three different courses to master, the short course for learning, the long course for masters, and the shuffle puck course which is just fun throwing stones out the back of a flying plane although I don't think that's the point. As you can see from the picture the developers have done a good job of giving you everything you need to play and enjoy the game without cluttering up the screen. The controls are easy and intuitive, the graphics are nice and clean, everything a good game should have. Honestly this game feels like something you would be playing on your PS3 or your computer, a full featured game with all the bells and whistles. This game is a great deal for the asking price, I would think this game would be at least $4.99 or $9.99 but it's not so grab it up!

Improved graphics, added tutorial, new menu system, and now additional stones. Super! I really enjoy the challenge behind each throw. With the many game modes, various stone options in the arcade play, this is definitely a fun and challenging physics based game.
Evolution in Refinement (five stars) Reviewed by Jonathan G on the US App Store You have to give credit to the developer. The people we do not see when we turn on our screen. The people who place out a product with the hopes of creating something that will shine. Curlington was released with applause from those who find the sport fascinating but from afar. There were issues around its release as the menu's and some of the explanations were a little bit confusing. It was a beautiful game but had its impairments and it felt like it could go even further with a little shine. I am sitting here with mouth open at this game. I feel like I invested in a tv show pilot at the beginning. It had a lot of spark and potential but there were a few things that needed ironed out. I feel like I am looking at not only a picked up tv pilot but one on its third refined season. Let me try to make this short by saying the game's menu is now perfect. Stage Select feels like it is quasi science fiction/military and a huge improvement on the first. We now have a full fledged tutorial that does an exceedingly good job in producing an understanding of both gameplay and rules. The stones powers all have a unique comprehension factor in that we now understand what they do. I feel the game developer took the previous and just kept the basic structure but created a new creature. Here we have Curling in its highest and refined state for the price of a hamburger. Let us leave a burger and join the ranks in finally understanding exactly what curling is? Sure you may not be on Jeopardy and that question is asked but come next winter olympics you have both a conversation starter and a way to brag which is always a nice concept. So bundle up again....hit the ice and make sure you have your stone at the right position and enjoy Curlington HD.
