Tell me if this sounds legit, TA'ers. I was beta testing for this game and near the end of the 1st phase, they told everyone who was testing they had to either buy a ten dollar 'action figure' from them or go on facebook, tell everyone they know about their game, and make sure they get ten people to 'like' their game or they wouldn't be on their list for the second round of testing! Can you believe that? I wrote to them saying I wanted to continue on with the testing, as I have tested many games, but I don't facebook, didn't really want their toy, and just wanted to help the game along. Nope, that wasn't any good, and they excluded me from continuing. I wrote telling them this was no way to market their game extorting their own testers like that to continue being involved. Next thing you know, I'm banned from their boards. Next day, I see the dev is polling everyone whether they should stop their practice because two people complained about their methods because they couldn't get enough 'likes', which was a complete lie! So, funny thing is, 78% of people said yes they should stop this and all these people wrote saying how they thought that it sucked (and a lot of people lost friends over it even), so whatever...I'm out..Just wanted everyone to know what these guys are all about, how they treated everyone, and tried to make their own testers guinea pigs by making them pay for THEIR OWN development, then even do their marketing and advertisement for them by having people post phony 'likes' for them on the internet. These people have absolutely no credibility whatsoever! They deserve nothing.
