Can I just ask a question:

I've been observing some good attention for this game which is great and congratulations to the developers. Also I'm only asking this for a brief discussion/comparison. After all many games (especially the best ones) are compared to their peers, either when they're in development or in existence.
    My question:

What does this have to offer over order and chaos?
Have I missed a fundamental point?
To me this seems similar yet O&A is already out there on the market and in my opinion is a great game. It just perhaps needs a little more depth but visually and te physics of it, it's already doing great. I think that O&A COULD be built up nicely just like WoW was IF te developers wanted, (yeh no promises there).

So what will set this game apart?

    @ Talbs

We have passion and besides being artists and programmers almost all of us are mmorpg gamers. We do the World of Midgard game we want to play ourselves.

Most important of all we are producing 100% original game in opposite of trying to do poor step brother of WoW with the best parts, which makes WoW great, striped out.

Talbs, all you are asking about is already discussed serveral times on our forum.

To find out all what is not in O&C but is in World of Midgard

So go to forum and see how much those 2 game differ.

Many of our fans play O&C while waiting for World of Midgard and they post their comments about what O&C is missing and what is annoying there on forum.

Is there a way you can make the red dragon available as an in-app purchase?
Because I really want to support this game but I do not have a paypal.

We are sorry but Lava dragon is exclusive mount for "founding fathers" and will not be available for in game purchase ever.

This is a limited edition mount meant to support development of the game.

The link to get lava mount will be removed after 1000 sold or Nov 30th whichever comes first. (Game launches Dec 7th)

If you have a credit/debit card, you can pay with that instead of PayPal.

How was game development affect when Order & Chaos came out?

Do you play Order & Chaos?

What areas do you play you to expand on that O&C and WoW failed in?

Order & Chaos does not have any effect on planned development at all. We started development of World of Midgard over a year before O&C launched and we a happy with current direction of WoM.

I think O&C is results of good executed development but players will decide which game is more fun.

I personally tested O&C and it seems to me (it's my personal opinion) that the main focus is on relaxation during leveling itself with the main goal of having next level in opposite to focus on the end game.

Games are very different in many areas. More info is on our forum but here are just a few things (based on my limited test, conversation with players on O&C chat, O&C reviews and our forum members comments)

    - Factions, with faction PvP battlegrounds (capture the flash, first to kill 10 etc). To make it clear those are faction against faction battleground (Alliance vs Fury). It feels good to fight opposite faction on battleground.

    - Focus on end game. All mmorpg has leveling including WoM and we try to make leveling super fun, but we spend large amount of time on the end game content development. We believe that it is the end game where the best fun is. We want the end game to be the reward for reaching max level.

    - Dungeons are very important part of the game including end game expert dungeon. There are solo, 3-man, 5-man normal dungeons, and 5-man expert dungeons in WoM ( expert dungeon difficulty is like 5-man raid). Dungeons are also alternative route for leveling. There are 20 open world zones planned with number of optional zones so we don't force players to do dungeons if they prefer open world.

    - 3 alternative way of leveling: Quests, Dungeons, Hunting (and any mix of those)

    - Separate servers for PvE and PvP (as far as I understand O&C has one type of server - PvE with number of free for all PvP zones). We don't want to force PvE players to play in PvP zones but at the same time we want to give full faction PvP to those who likes that.

    - Rated PvP Arena on both PvE and PvP servers

    - Mounts (many different)

    - Relatively separated game play for hardcore players and casual players. For casual player game offers quests, solo and 3-man dungeon and some of 5-man regular dungeons. For hardcore players expert dungeons and coming 10-man raid.

    - Coming 10-man raid (Not in Dec 7th release)

There is long list of differences but I can't put all of them here.

Note that WoM launch is still half year away so players can now play O&C and then some of them may move to WoM after it launches (or to other game). Many of WoM fans are playing O&C now while waiting for WoM.

To summarize I think O&C is professionally developed game and many players will play it but there are players who are looking for different kind of experience and they will find it in WoM.

Face and Hair features seem too savage like. Might look better in color but I don't like this one. I'm not saying make her look super cute but she's looks manly....
