A4E, really? I thought it was a very impressive game. I preferred it over other twin stick survival shooters, including Minigore.
If A4E, Minigore, Pocket God, and Flight Controls are the WORST you've ever played in the app store then some of you guys should consider yourselves lucky. Those games aren't that bad(depending on your tastes), some games are damn right broken and/or lacking any sliver of quality.
i didn't find it impressive just my tastes and who ever posted about the text based mmo's (including the newest one)
- Text-based apps (I don't consider those crap games), especially the ones without even a single animation and have no gameplay mechanics whatsoever - CoD Zombies - Blades of Fury - Mummy's Revenge - Sparta - Ravensword - Minigore Ugh way too many to list. These only include the game most people know about.
Totally saw that coming. Strutted in here all smug thinking "Bet Aurora's listed a load of the most popular games". BTW you're too cool.
Thanks. Guess it might take a while longer for the concept of "personal opinion" to sink into some people's heads. I honestly don't know what people are trying to accomplish by bashing others? Miraculously I'll start loving those games??
Oh I get the concept, I just don't believe you haven't played anything worse. You've seen the App Store, right?
@aurora are you even remotely serious? ravensword is superb IMO, if the concept and visuals did not appeal to you why did you buy it? what an odd choice another vote for flight control, boring after 3 minutes exactly. theother was a game that was, im 99% certain by the com2us corp. was a small collection of mini games like breakout etc but done so badly and cheaply i believe they removed it from teh appstore. even at 59p i felt robbed and nearly asked for a refund .. totally dire. oh and those crappy 60 in 1 stylee apps, looks good in static screens but the gameplay on every single game was so woeful it nearly made a grown man cry
I am sorry that you feel that way We have 100% changed our approach to making games, so hopefully you won't feel the same way about our next games.
Truth. It's a common phenomenon, people hate what's popular, so they feel the need to point it out at every opportunity even though they HAVE played far worse games. For some reason it makes them feel better to say something like Minigore or Ravensword.
Wifi fighters. TOFTT'ed it way back because I thought it was interesting, and I thought it totally sucked. It looked like the dev worked hard, but it felt bad.
These were my least favorite games downloaded from the app store in 2009: Bacteria Bash (free) Eye Vs. Eye Dropship lite Kryzer Prologue ($1) Tower Madness (free) Hero of Sparta ($1 sale) Undead Live (free) Zenonia Lite Tap Tap Revenge 3 ($1) Sparkz Lite Aves (free) Trism and Minigore are runners up for this category, the former being a disappointing and blatant Hexic Rip-off (e.g. even the achievements) whose mechanics were gimmicky (the tilt aspect made it even worse), and nowhere near as solid as many reviews claim.
